I'm currently craving some spy/thriller plots! I have some ideas you'll find further in this post, but first I'd like to list my main preferences for RP ^^
-> I'm looking for OCxOC only, preferably queer pairings (or MxF if I can write F).
-> I usually write in 3rd person and past tense but I'm fine with 1st person and/or present tense too, let me know what you prefer!
-> I RP on Discord in private servers.
-> I would like to stick to literate (500-1000 words) replies at the longest, as novella burns me out.
-> Please be open to chatting OOC, I would like to be able to at least chat about the plot and ideally just be friendly with my RP partner!!
Here's the ideas I've had:
-> Character A has been working as an intelligence analyst for years, processing intercepted communications and classified operations. One day, they discover an off-the-book program supposed to target threats to national security, but realises it targets civilians instead. Character A steals hundreds of classified files and disappears. Character B is an experienced operative sent by the agency they both work for to retrieve the stolen documents and silence Character A if needed.
-> Character A and Character B worked for the same intelligence agency. They were in a serious relationship until Character A was declared dead a few years before the start of the story. Character B stumbled upon them, alive and well, during a mission. Character A explains that they had to fake their death to escape the agency and are considered a traitor. Instead of bringing them in, Character B helps them escape and/or go on the run with them.
-> Character A is an asset stuck in a perilous situation, Character B is assigned as their handler until extraction. Communications with the agency suddenly go silent, the safehouse they're in is compromised. Character B realises they're being hunted by someone from inside the agency. They have to move from place to place and try to figure out why they're being pursued before the people on their trail catch up to them.
I have more thoughts about potential plot beats/outlines that I can share once we start chatting if any of those ideas catch your eye! And I'm also happy to brainstorm a completely different plot together 😊
