Not sure if this is a safe place to say this sorry if not but I have sm hate in my heart 🙏🙏 I hate the slimecicle leaktwt circle sm. "Callout thread on why this cc is actually racist/ableist/etc" then they say racist ableist shit to crit that same cc. Hate with your whole chest ig but don't pretend to be woke and "spread awareness" I'm not falling for that
leaktwt being miserable... fork found in kitchen
honestly though i know people say "jobless" about people who participate in leaktwt and fandom drama shit but i genuinely believe being deeply invested in hating on people who are mildly problematic at best is a sign that you are lacking something in your life (enrichment, love, validation, etc.)
like i would only ever post on here or dig about cc's when i was depressed, drunk, or so deep in my hyperfixation that i obsessed over every detail about their lives to the point where it felt like i had read every single thing about them. it almost functioned like an addiction where you spend hours searching for information and creating narratives in your head and then gamble on being correct or receiving validation for your delusional opinions from others online.
they absolutely get joy out of making people mad or "shocking" them or proving them wrong about how their favorite cc; or they love the feeling of lording their secret special knowledge over others. it's all about feeling like the smartest, most in-touch, morally perfect person in your circle and its entirely performative.
critblr or leaktwt or whomever, you gain clout in these circles for being a contrarian and being inflammatory, regardless of if you genuinely believe what you're saying or not. it's no surprise that when you see people "calling out" creators, it's always the most relevant no-nuance takes about current affairs like calling people pedophiles or zionists simply because they don't do everything you want them to.
idk not to be all "cancel culture blah blah" but there's just far too much moral grandstanding online from people who are judgmental and nasty and deeply unkind in the worst ways. and it's mostly bored teenagers who crave the dopamine that comes from getting interactions online.
there's nothing wrong with being a hater but don't pretend like you're better than anyone for it.
