Just basking in this guy for another minute if you don't mind. I will probably be doing prints of him for Oddities and Curiosities next month but have to clean up the image a bit first.

Two years.

That's how long this cute little raccoon sat unfinished in my studio.

I don't know exactly what was holding me back, but last week I finally finished him. It feels like a weight has been lifted and I'm finally giving myself permission to move forward.

It's funny how some pieces can get stuck even when you're excited about them. Sometimes there is something you need to work through before you can finish them. I'm glad I didn't give up on this one!
