      Doors slide open as the two exit the store and Makoto bids a quick FAREWELL to the clerk before catching up with his friend. He offers one half of the i c e y treat with a smile and the two settle into a COMFORTABLE silence as they head towards home, but it doesn’t last for LONG before Makoto begins to voice his THOUGHTS.     ❛❛ Ne, Haru ----- ?? ❜❜     He calls out to gain the others a t t e n t i o n.      ❛❛ Do you want to come round for dinner?? Mum asked me to invite you and it seems Ren and Ran really want to see you too. ❜❜

I’ve never really drawn Mermen AU, so I decided to fix this horrible mistake. Speaking of horrible mistakes. Don’t mention the flowers, okay? Just. Don’t. I feel like I’ve shown a middle finger to the Physics, and not in a badass way. I’ve realized it too late in the process to fix it so just. Pretend it’s some kind of mermen magic. Little flowers that sink. God have mercy. Rei probably hates me now.

And speaking of Rei, this wasn’t his lucky day. Taking Nagisa on a ride in a boat filled with flowers seemed like such a romantic idea. Of course Rin and Haru didn’t steal the flowers. They borrowed them. Without permission and with no intent of bringing them back, but still. And if they toppled the boat over in the process… well, how were they supposed to know that the blue-haired one can’t swim? The blonde rescued him anyway, so what’s the big deal. They probably had great Valentines Day in spite of everything, with all their legs and their clothes… or no clothes, you know, that works too. The point is, Makoto got his surprise and was happy (he doesn’t have to know the minor details) and that’s all that counts.

Person A being held hostage in a fortress and Person B violently leaving a mess of carnage in their wake in order to get to them. Covered in blood and questionable pieces of enemy remains, Person B finally makes it to Person A in the center of the wreckage and gives them a gentle peck on the forehead before apologizing for the wait.

               THE BLONDE didn’t react to the voice AT FIRST since she assumed it wasn’t meant for her. She didn’t KNOW anyone from this school, she had just COME to watch some people swim. Amaya was just a LOVER of sports, didn’t matter what kind, she loved to WATCH. Though, obviously, volleyball was her FAVORITE.  She turned though, seeing the other was INDEED waving her down of all people. She had no idea WHY, since she was pretty sure she didn’t know him but the tall girl wouldn’t IGNORE someone who called out to her even if she was a bit INTROVERTED and SOFT SPOKEN. Blue eyes LOOKED to him, long blonde hair brushed over one shoulder as she stopped where she was.

                                                                   ❝ YES? ❞

     His shoulders slump in relief and his smile WIDENS as he jogs up to close the short distance between them, w e a v i n g himself through the crowd. It was quite the turn out, which wasn’t SURPRISING considering Samezuka’s reputation, so it was only natural their school festival would be bustling with people. But being as busy as it was, it was also very EASY to loose things too, which might have just happen with the young female. However Makoto wasn’t sure whether the wallet actually BELONGED to her or not, he just saw it fall and made a GUESS as to whom it belonged to.

     ❛❛ Excuse me ----- miss!! ❜❜  He calls out with his tone light and FRIENDLY, only raising his voice ever so SLIGHTLY to be heard over the din of the crowd. He thought about reaching out just in case he wasn’t h e a r d, but then thought against it; not to sure whether she would APPRECIATE being touched by a random stranger. He just had to hope his voice was LOUD enough to be heard.

          It wasn’t often that Makoto found himself running LATE but today just happened to be one of those days where e v e r y t h i n g just seemed to be going wrong. At least, however, he could still make it to his class if he RAN there but luck just wasn’t on his side and in his RUSH to make it in time, he ended up running smack into the front of another. Luckily with his h e i g h t there wasn’t much impact for him, unfortunately for the unsuspecting stranger, it an entirely DIFFERENT story.
