//Hello devoted humans! I will likely be tabling at San Francisco Zinefest! Is anyone planning on going? If you are, I might finish the Butterball comic and publish it in a little fanzine of Hellraiser comics. The Lilith zine will also be making its debut at Zinefest if all goes well! //Tiny preview of my original comic. I took various midrashim about King Solomon and turned them into a queer exophilia romance. (I combined the male lust demon Asmodeus and the female lust demon Naahmah into a single being for my version of Asmodai.)

Just a little something for the very niche audience of queer trans Jewish monster-lovers who grew up on surrealist gothic romance manga. LMK if you might be interested in reading more.

Unfortunately, the usual methods of getting your human conjurer to like you aren’t working.

Your appeal to his nerdy sensibilities gets your foot in the door but he’s not really into you…But then his brother tries to coerce a concubine into becoming part of an assassination plot. It’s bad enough that someone is trying to kill your human, but disrespecting s*x workers? You just don’t do that in the presence of an eldritch void of endless desire a lust demon. You WILL get eaten.

Your human now returns your crush, but not just because you rescued him…but because he’s just begun to realize he’s a monsterfucker. Somehow this makes you like him even more. Eventually…

(Very few of these pages are actually finished, and there’s way more to the actual story but I wanted to show that I have in fact been making art that’s at least kind of inspired by Hellraiser haha.)
