i have exclusively used the library for all my reads for years and years. i still use the library for 95% of my reading, but i've been trying to pre-order next books in series i really love to support the authors.

my first pre-order came. i have to say, this is so nice. the book just showed up at my door within a day of releasing. i didn't have to wait on hold for weeks/months to read it. certainly not going to do this for every series (not all of them need a place on my shelf), but the ones i love, absolutely.

a local coffee shop opened near e’s house, and it’s so good!

they had a summer menu and i immediately went “oh, we are trying all of those this summer”. he was completely on board, so we spent the summer going and getting fun drinks together.

tragedy did strike because the menu unexpectedly ended on july 29, so we didn't get to try the mango matcha 😭

we got back from quebec city a few days ago and tbh i don't really know what to say about it other than: we had an amazing time, i am full of croissants and flat whites, we did a truly awesome hike, and quebec is an absolutely stunning province. i kind of can't believe this city wasn't even on my radar before, and now i am telling everyone to go.
