You thought you were special, but you’re not even close. You’re boring and they want adventure. So it’s either change or move on but both end in hurt. And you’re not ready for that. So instead.. You prepare yourself to do the hurting. But you don’t have what it takes. They’ll fall for the prettier girls and they won’t get hurt. Because they found the real princess while you were left realizing what you’re actually worth.

How would you use their social media if you were on their team?

Wow, where do I begin. Do bullets work because that’ll be easiest:

Engaging fans is key. And I’m not talking about following or replying to a handful of lucky girls, that doesn’t count.

Instead of the annoying “where are we going today Mark?” If Niall can already do this, he can easily walk around back stage for 15 seconds. How about he uses his Instagram videos to give fans a peek backstage at what everyone is doing pre-show. Get fans excited for the concert. 

Have their fans suggest a warm-up song pre-show and then upload a clip. 

I’d love for Caroline to post outfits and have fans decide what they’ll wear that night (could be 1 boy or more) make it fun like “should Harry wear the gold boots or these black ones?”

Teasdale could post pics or videos of her doing their hair/them looking silly while getting their hair done.

Sarah could give us a peek at what’s for lunch or dinner and who eats what. That’d be cool right?!

Or how about every night they use a hashtag with two song choices and whichever gets the most RTs gets played acoustically that night. 

Speaking of music, how about they tweet us some secrets behind the songs. How they came up with certain lyrics or melodies. Could be a once a week sort of thing.

Liam could post some more DJ Payne songs, even clips! They could even have a poll for what he should remix next.

Maybe Zayn could upload a quick, simple doodle for every (or every other) show? Just a little something, could be anything!

Since Louis loves new talent, how about every once in a while he tweets about some amazing 1D covers that fans worked hard on?!

What happened to Harry and Vine? Even if they were paying him to use it, they were so much fun! Bring back Harry’s Vines 2k15.

Quick weekly Q&A sesh? Twitter or Instagram.

Replying to fans on a more regular basis. Like how Zayn has been doing recently. They could even use their Instagram to do this! Give advice to someone who’s feeling crappy or tell them their homemade sign is wicked. Bigger artists than 1D do this on the regular, might I add. (regardless of who’s actually doing it as per this post it can be genuinely done).

Another cue from Zayn: How about each boy actually acknowledges this fandom’s amazing artists and change up their Twitter icons every few weeks to fan art or Instagram some of their favorite work. Doesn’t have to be every day. Just a little something to show they appreciate it. 

Fan service us with some tweets to each other. Those were great back in the day. Bring that back. We’re here because we love the OT5 aspect.

How about some more YouTube videos? Remember those random covers that appeared a few years ago… how about more of those. Or Tour Diaries and Twit Cams?! They could literally be 5-minutes long and we’d be happy!

Since we’re the ones wearing and displaying the merchandise how about you let us decide what you’re going to sell us to wear?!? Get fans engaged in the process and choose fan-made designs!

Updates on new music maybe! Keek something quickly let us know you’re working together on music and not on your own. Literally takes no time just a quick: “Hey guys, recording new stuff we’re so excited for you to hear it! Love you guys!” Make us feel like you remember we’re here and not just feeding your bank accounts.

More photos of them as a band. I already said it but OT5 OT5 OT5!! We miss the closeness from the beginning. Bring it back!

I literally came up with this list in 15 minutes. Moral of the story: There is so much that they could do and it takes no time at all. There’s so much potential and it’s being wasted for terrible promo for things no one cares about or just radio silence.
