As a Bethesda enjoyer I can confidently say that when you really like a video game the bugs and glitches come across as charming but when you don’t like a video game they just drive you insane
Like imagine that an NPC gets stuck between a chair and a wall and starts glitching between the wall and chair so fast that it makes a horrible banging noise, all the while the NPC in question keeps repeating the line “So, you gonna buy anything?”
In a video game I like, say, Oblivion, I’d go “Oh, you little rascal you.” and move on but in a game I don’t like, say, Starfield, that might be the last straw and cause me to rage quit.
Like yes you should try to make your games be stable but if it’s good, like if it’s actually good, I’ll give you a little slack. I’m having fun, I can take a crash or two in stride. But if I’m barely tolerating your game I am just so unforgiving. A pox on your house.
