This one seemed amusing, unsure what kind of tone he was going to take as he seemed to be biting his tongue and playing the polite staff member. That was even more funny to Corbyn and he closed the distance between them, walking over to him as he spoke of talents, deciding to tease him. “Perhaps I will.” he replied and looked over the demon hybrid’s form “What other talents do you have?” he asked with a smirk “Learnt anything from the slaves here?”
Oren may have been young for a dryad but he hadn’t been born yesterday. It was clear that this master was taking great pleasure in tormenting him. He knew exactly what the man meant about learning from the slaves but he decided to play dumb. Not that the master was hideous to look at, no, just more on principal than anything. As a way to try and take back some of the power he’d lost during the conversation.
“Oh, many talents, sir, I find that you can learn from anyone. Everyone has something to teach that you likely don’t know.” he said it with as much sincerity as he could muster, easy enough since it was true but a little difficult because it wasn’t precisely what he’d been asked.
