I got potatoes, really big carrots, more eggplant and cucumbers. Seriously a great harvest today! #urbangardener #gratefulgardener #organicvegetables #growyourownfood #organicgardening #vegetables #cleaneating #realfood #wholefood #whole30 #paleoeating #organic #montrealgardener #summer #essentiallygreen #gardensofinstagram #gardening_feature #eggplant #potatoes #carrots #cucumbers
These babies are going to get stuffed with some goat cheese and fresh herbs. What a gift, when you can walk into your back garden and in under five minutes harvest enough fruit for three people to have for breakfast with some to spare. I consider myself an amateur gardner, and every season I make a lot of mistakes. I do know that when you have berries growing it is important to harvest them as they ripen to encourage the plant to produce more fruit. When this is what I find, that is not a difficult thing to do. #urbangardener #gratefulgardener #organicvegetables #organicfruit #growyourownfood #organicgardening #organicgardener #vegetables #cleaneating #realfood #wholefood #whole30 #paleoeating #montrealgardener #summer #essentiallygreen #gardensofinstagram #gardening_feature #fruit

What Would Love Do?
Love needs to come first and last and everywhere in the between. Love fixes everything from scraped knees to broken hearts, to poverty and oppression. It is ONLY about love, about loving ourselves and every other living being on this planet in the realization that we are all one. Our actions here and now in the way we live, eat, shop and exist directly impacts others and everything around the…

Welcome to my new Organic Gardening blog. I am a passionate amateur gardener, with a desire to grow, well just about everything! I’m not really sure why I have started this blog, because I have used Instagram in the past to post pics of my stuff, but I was here, and I thought, hey, while I am here, I might as well give it a shot. Here is a picture of the first produce I have harvested this season, some stunning radishes. There is something so gratifying about growing things that you can eat. Not only do you feel like you are nourishing yourself and your family, but you are reducing your demand on the bigger commercial machine of grocery stores and shipping of produce and chemical use, and irradiated matter etc... I also have some rappini that I was able to harvest, (pics to follow) and our #spinach as well as lettuce, swiss chard, kale and roquette that can be cut for consumption as well. I will grab some still images of them as I harvest them to share. A friend of mine started a blog here on Tumblr last week as she is facing the greatest challenge of her life. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Today she has had a mastectomy and will be beginning chemotherapy shortly. She’s one of the most amazing people I know, so if you get a chance to add my friend Chalida-dk to your prayers for a successful surgery and easy recovery, and you may even check out her blog, Walk With Me and Breast Cancer, please do! Thanks for reading! Joyce
