Girls Just Wanna Have Fun ~ Amariah & Oriel
"Where did you come from before here and why did you leave?" She asked, the buzz filling her with curiosity. Any censorship was out the window at this point for Amariah. "And how are you liking it here? Oh! Tell me about your fae life, what kind are you? Are you part of a court? Iām a changeling so Iāve never known a court in my life, or my human parents for that matterā¦" There was a tinge of sadness that brought her down just a bit, but staring back up at the gicantic moon, Amariah glowed once more and continued to hover next to her new friend as they made their way down the path, "should we go through there?" She asked, feeling adventurous as she pointed passed the shrubbery and into the woods. There was enough light from the moon that it wasnāt too dark, plus they glowed and doubled themselves as flashlights!
A soft chuckle escaped Oriel's lips. "Another town, another life. I wanted somewhere else to go," she explained quickly, not thinking about the memories that she'd left behind. It was another time, another place that she wasn't going back to. The slew of questions had Oriel staring at the girl, resisting the urge to laugh at how excited she seemed to find out everything about her new acquaintance. "It's lovely, full of people, and no I'm not. I've never been to either of the courts. I was raised by my dad in the human world, so...solitary? Is that what they call it? I feel like that's it." She tightened his grip on the bottle just to make sure that she didn't drop it as she caught the girl's sadness. "You're better off without them, because now you're here and we're having fun!" Oriel grinned a little bit before she found herself staring at the path. "Let's do it," she said eagerly. "I can't wait."
