i"ve been thinking about writing a blog but I do not have a whole lot to say. I decided that it will be somewhat of a journal a place to record my life. I want to keep it up. Post things I like share my thoughts and ideas, look at others. Relate to humans. I am not a great writer my punctuation is not the best. I get on a roll and make up sentence structures my own way. I am unapologetic to this. While my life is not exciting and I am not doing a whole lot, it is my life, and it is worth living for and I have and will do some pretty great stuff.
I currently am having my first Harry Potter marathon of 2015. I recently graduated from Lewis-Clark State College, after six years of studying, with a bachelors degree in Social Science:History and Secondary Education. I really want nothing more at this point than to get a masters and perhaps a docterite degree. I 100% feel I am capable but I 50% do not think I can afford it. 50% there are always loans. 50% I am drowning in loans as it is now. I was the first in my family to graduate from college and I want to go all the way. Set the future standards high. Which brings me to the point that as an educator I believe in high standards, kids can and will meet them. I currently work at a public library. I love the library atmosphere and wouldn't mind getting that masters in Library Science. The library realm is similar to teaching. I get to research, help, teach, learn, grow, develop, and so much more. I do only work part time though, which means I substitute teach on my days off. Did I mention I did not get hired as a teacher yet? Becoming a substitute teacher is one of the most defeating things in my life. I am selfish. I want my own classroom. Own students. Own ideas, lessons, plans, scholars. I have an amazing boyfriend. He is dreamy, and also a Secondary Education History Teacher. He does have a teaching job and sometimes I am so jealous, but often I am thankful as he is having to figure it out first. I am learning from him.
I am currently working on losing weight. I am trying to be proactive in my life. I am uncomfortable and feel like I am failing. I am not being humble when I say I am overweight. I am aware, ashamed, and trying to fix it. Along with working out and being healthy I want to keep up this blog. Once a day, or several times a day, but none a day should not be an option.
