Where to go in Canada? EXPLORE BC 

As most of you know when I am back in my home country I live in the mountains, in Whistler.This is probably one of the most spectacular spots I have found so close to home. Only about 1.5 drive from Whistler. Unmarked trailhead, unmaintained trail, hike to alpine about an hr straight up and then you are in paradise. I woud mention the name but for those of you who live here or know about the rise in tourism, you understand. Whistler and it’s surroundings are becoming WAY too touristy. We are killing off our bears because of it. There is traffic like no other before. The amount of garbage we pick up along hiking trails is sickening, so I will not ruin this magical spot by divulging its exact location. I know we are a travel blog but I live here and do not want to see this place destroyed.
