Ah wow, this video is over a year old already. Time passes by so quickly.

In case some of you don’t know or remember the context of this video, basically TERA NA publishers wanted to remove and ban anyone using 3rd party tools which resulted in a huge uproar that made September 28th 2018 the final straw towards the NA community. 3rd party tools was mostly used for huge quality of life changes such as DPS meter, mods to increase FPS, and so forth. The publishers did back down on their word, but still left a bitter taste towards their disgusted playerbase, including me. 

Already sold my account and left it all behind for almost a year already. It’s nice to have the freedom away from that game. No more being invited to trap dungeon runs, begged to do Harrowhold, dealing with exploiters, the stress of anything in general dealing with the game, etc.

In case nobody got the hint yet, but I've stopped playing TERA when EME screwed up big time on September 28, 2018. That alone was enough for me to finally give up on EME and TERA. Am I done completely? Absolutely and with no hesitation on that decision either. 

But let me be transparent with you here. EnMasse Entertainment as of now has shown that they have no control or knowledge behind their game to the point where it's frightening to continue playing their game. I've invested enough to the point where I’m not continuing any further.

So if you feel like you see me playing or see a name of one of my alts, then it's simply not me where someone might have taken my names.

Soooo that's pretty much all I wanted to say without going too overboard here. As for me, I'm sticking with console gaming (Nintendo Switch & Playstation 4) where I have complete control of my time without stressing on having to deal with incompetence and stress alike.

Hope you all enjoyed for what little contributions I've done to this game. 

(Did you know that the first beta for TERA NA happened on February 10, 2012? Man I feel old now playing this game for 7 years)

While waiting on my food, this showed up on my subscription list. I clicked on it and it was a good reminder to go ahead and unsubscribe to their channel. (I should also do that on Twitter as well)

I get that they are just having fun with it by being silly (maybe too silly for my taste?), but there’s no sense of direction on what they are trying to achieve from this video. 

Maybe this weird video would have been fine if their reputation was in good shape to begin with, but it’s like it’s representing the mishaps EME has done over the past years and mocking their playerbase. That could be just me though.

There are words going around that someone translated the next Sorcerer class changes to only having the 17% damage boost for Fusion alone.

I can tell you with confidence that it's 17% damage boost for Fusion and Elemental Fusion. I mean, Elemental Fusion is part of a Fusion skill and it makes no sense to exclude the damage bonus...

Sorc Talent Thingy

So I'm checking out the talent system on my day off that just arrived on EME's server. I wasn't surprised there are Korean mistranslated names and outdated information as always. So here I am having to pinpoint the mistakes about the one class I'm knowledgeable about.

That should say Nova not Mana Burst. Nova is roughly called Mana Burst in KTERA. And no, it's not related to Mana Boost.

KTERA talent system existed a long time ago back when Sorcerers still had the skill "Ice Needle" at the time. They simply just goofed to update the name to Frost Sphere. So no, it's not related to Ice Lance.

And again, KTERA talent system existed a long time ago before Sorcerers had their mini-revamp to reform Burst of Celerity into a passive skill. What it supposed to do is increase the effect of Mana Boost. The effect as in both damage and attack speed. 

The tooltip is the same on KTERA but after checking it myself, it’s giving more movement speed than intended. Starting at stage 1 you will earn an additional 21 movement speed instead of 7. Each stage you go up will earn you +1 speed. Whether this was unintentional by Bluehole, take advantage of this anyways. 

So there’s your corrected info of Sorcerer’s talents. Or EP as they call it.

EME not holding back their desperation after killing their playerbase.

People has been asking this for years and Bluehole finally implemented a training dummy along with a built-in DPS meter in that area.

Crab doesn't turn around so feel free to test setups without interference. You can enter this instance multiple times with no limits. The two crystals when you first enter are between Priest or Mystic buffs. The last crystal just resets the boss.

Towards the end of the video, I tried clicking the built-in DPS meter to see if it shows anything else. Not to my surprise, it doesn't.

Biggest issue I see is the HP is way too low. It took me 3 minutes & 30 seconds to kill it while I was goofing around with Frostmetal +0 at 300ms ping.

I can't really see this as a good way to measure DPS across all classes just yet. Boss enrages 100% of the time + HP is low. You could manipulate your gear to make it excessively better compared to a traditional dungeon run.

But this is a start, ktera could make additional changes to this later on.

This is a good read that is targeted towards TERA NA and what could happen in the near future. After you finish reading, I will list to express my thoughts about it.

I can understand Calli's decision for not having any interest to be an outside contractor.

Maybe it's a big thanks to the NA community for waking EME up by showing how much the player-base has significantly dropped even with the server merge. But I wouldn't know statistically cause I haven't logged to witness the population myself.

So who is this Brian person and how much influence can this person do? Brian has admitted of being new and too naive on wanting to provide a platform for the community to mod the game. I'm sure Brian wants to do the right thing, but it's still up to Bluehole to decide that.

So what does it leave with right now? Nothing. A short-term solution is exactly what this game needs right now. Who knows if EME decides to let 3rd party support continue as a short-term solution until their long-term plan commences. I’m sure the 3rd party devs would comply and continue their support to the player-base if that happens.

I'll probably try out awakening Sorc when it comes out on NA. I blame Austin and his Sorcerer spreadsheet that is intriguing me to test out. Oh I forgot, no more DPS meter. Unless...

EDIT: So on 11/13/18 they removed Xigncode and became lenient towards proxy/3rd party users.
