“You got a little…” Wren tried pointing to the blood on Romeo’s lip which should really be paid attention to by now. Everything else the other said was going in one ear and out the other. He couldn’t focus on his words with the wounds he was noticing now that he was getting a better look at them. “Come with me.” he took Romeo’s wrist and started leading him to a close by cafe. He tugged him to a table to the corner and muttered, “Wait here” before heading to the front counter to ask for a first aid kit. Once he got it he returned and pulled his chair close to Romeo’s so he could attend to his wounds. “Do they still hurt a lot?” he asked opening the kit to see what he could find inside.
Romeo’s brow furrowed when Wren gestured towards his face, then the dancer belatedly felt the warmth making a path down his chin. Shit, his lip ached. Swiping at the blood with less than clean hands, he quietly thanked the other and moved to look away. That’s when Wren surprised him by taking his wrist and leading him into a nearby cafe. His eyes were wide and it must have been a comical sight with him being dragged all injured and wounded behind Wren. Taking a seat when he was ushered into one, Romeo continued to stare with amazement while Wren set about getting a first aid kit then tending to his wounds. He was struck speechless. He figured he was useless to Wren since he was married but it seemed like the other had some kindness in there somewhere. Wow, what a revelation. “Thank you... yeah, they really do. He uh... hits hard.”
