AU idea: Washed up rock star Victor tags along with Elisabeth to a charity event at church and meets a beautiful young musician with angelic voice ✨

(And some SIIIIICK guitar skills ⚡️)

(And who’s secretly Victor’s biggest fan)

Some extra headcanons under cut:

Victor probably was in a band and its name was something like “Flame Stealers” or other Prometheus related stuff lol (I’m bad at naming)

Adam grew up as a sickly child and spent a lot of time in hospitals, Victors music was the thing that kept him going.

He never had any money for concert tickets so this is their first ever (accidental) meeting (Adam is 23-25 years old atm).

Victor has medical degree that his father made him get, he doesn’t hate that line of work, but he dropped it and became musician just to spite Leopold. (It’s petty but have you seen his shitty dad??)

Victor is an atheist (like his dad) but he likes to accompany Liz wherever she goes (one-sided crush situation mayhaps?). They are life long friends.

Liz is into historical costumes and generally into alternative culture (fashion, music, ect). She’s still a religious and open-minded person who sometimes need to escape to her own little world to find peace. 💚

She’s also an entomologist, activist, philanthropist and a feminist.

P.S. I didn’t put tooooo much thought into this AU, because I don’t know how to link this one with canon more. 🤔

I personally prefer it when AUs are thematically linked with the original.

So if anyone gets inspired and wants to write a fic or snippet - be my guest and don’t forget to give me a link too, so I can read it ;)

P.P.S. I’ve heard rumors that the movie was supposed to feature a scene where The Creature sings for Elisabeth and it gave me the push in this AU direction.

(Adam can sing for both Liz AND Victor in this AU if you like, I never against them as OT3.)))
