Before all else, we were loved. Before your first breath, before you were formed, before you loved God looked within himself and saw your beauty. He fell in love with such beauty of his creation and created us, created you.
You're so cherished that the Lord of all sees you as his beloved, from the start when he saw you within and now as you wander earth.
What a wonderful contrast to nihilism.
What better meaning for Life, than the belief that God purposefully Created you and I, With Love and For Love.
crawling back to God only for Him to have already been carrying me
I really hate the secularization/tumblrifying of Saint Joan of Arc. like y’all really do not understand her at all
St Joan was deeply religious, and devout in her faith. She required her soldiers to receive the sacraments before battle, forbade foul language and drove prostitutes from her camps.
One of her most famous quotes is her response to be asked if she was in a state of Grace. “If I am, may God keep me there. If I’m not, may God put me there.”
St Joan wore men’s clothes because she was around men a lot and didn’t want her sexual behavior called to question, and in prison she continued to wear men’s clothes to prevent sexual assault by guards. Otherwise she was recorded wearing women’s clothing and she never once pretending or claimed to be a man. It irks me when people try to attribute a lgbt/ trans status to her because it diminishes what she accomplished as a woman, going against the norms of the time.
Joan of Arc wrote a letter to the Hussites, condemning them for their destruction of Christian sites and art, and murder of Christians/ Catholics and basically said “When I’m done with the English, I’m coming for you next”
Letter to the Hussites (March 23, 1430)
You can’t separate St Joan from her religion because everything she did was because of it. She was obedient to God unto death.
And she 100% would not approve of any lgbt/trans stuff, let alone that being imposed on herself in some future age. Her morals were much more conservative and devout than the gender crowd would like to imagine, no matter how much they try to manipulate history.

i love naming the elephant in the room (porn) in conversation because you're not supposed to do that and people are shocked but then they always agree with me. "teen boys are a menace these days" -> it's because of porn. "that's not normal behaviour" -> it's porn addiction. "does that imagery make anyone else uncomfortable" -> it's inspired by porn. "the way women are characterized" -> it's porn mythology. like ladies we are allowed to stay this stuff out loud

when a man refuses to sin he denies himself for the good of all men
the only way forward is this. the good struggle. to forget oneself, to find true purpose in others. to heal and be healed. we give ourselves, He gives Himself to us. are you hungry? what you eat, you can become. some things can’t be spoken. forgive me, making a mess of it all.
demonically influenced people will say the most outrageous things just to try and win over your attention. it's a tactic so that you give in to doubt, fear and ultimately, lose your peace. a man that trusts God fears no evil, but prays for their deliverance
I find that evil is hardly ever intelligent.
