              “Tch! Always bustin’ my chops, Oscar.” And if he tries to bust them too much, Shigure might just have to teach him a lesson. “What’s your problem with me this time?”

"Your attire. I see you still refuse to change. Legate Melchior and Lord Artorius may have given up on scolding you but I have not." It's a distraction in battle, Shigure.

ABILITIES /  POWERS . Oscar relies mostly on a blade with a flat end, not wanting to cause any undue harm to his enemies. He is extremely light on his feet and moves almost like the wind. For magical abilities he relies on Malakhim, whom he does do his best to keep safe. 

RESTRICTIONS .  Thanks to his injury from Velvet, he now has a blind side he is unused to accomodating for. This causes him to be slightly clumsier in battle, but muscle memory and reflex help him out.

oscar is just gonna give his other a flower. it's simple; gentle white petals, but they hold firm and are full and strong. quite like the two of them, this bloom.

"I am to understand that flowers are given in fondness, yes?" His voice is gentle, a softer tone much different from his usual commanding one-- a tone saved for only those closest to him. His eyes, too, are softer-- betraying an almost serene expression. 

"Emotions are a curious concept.. I am not meant to feel them, and yet I feel no judgement when I am with you." Oscar muses aloud, gently twirling the bloom between gloved fingers. 

"Let this flower then be proof of our bond. Thank you."

                “You misunderstand. It is a street term, as I comprehend it, to call out those of sin. I go away for some time and return to find everyone is as filthy as they were before I left.” And there goes a dramatic sigh. “People, honestly…”

It was his birthday yesterday... Not that it really matters to him. Just another missed day, it seems.

The smile he receives does quite the opposite– only causing his nerves to rattle even further. It wasn’t as though what he wanted to share was truly worthy of such feelings, but… He quickly changes his gaze to look forward, though he squeezes the other man’s hand a bit before leading the way.

“There is a room that I… like to go to when I am feeling off. I have not shared this with anyone though… Not even Teresa.” As much as he loved his sister, there was simply one room in the Headquarters that he could entirely be himself. No one else would know about it.. until now, of course.

Bringing the other through the halls with hastened steps, he finally stops before a large ornate ivory door, finally letting go of Oscar’s hand to push the heavy door open and step inside. The room is, of course, as white as the rest of the building, though the walls are lined with bookshelves and in the corner of the room lies a large white Grand Piano.

“Since not many are allowed to wander here, this room goes unnoticed by anyone other than myself for the most part.”

                 That squeeze to his hand doesn’t reassure him much, his own expression falling into that of concern. He’s so serious… Why so? Granted, he himself knows how they were raised and later trained in the Abbey. Showing any sort of emotion is so difficult. And yet with him, it almost comes naturally to Oscar. Does he keep fighting that? Should he? Or just let it flow?

                 Before he has a chance to say much ( and he’s honestly not surprised there’s something he kept from Teresa; Oscar has his own things, as well ) he’s shown into the room. Verdant hues widen a bit, looking around and taking in the stunning area. He had passed by this door before in his own HQ, but never took a look. How unfortunate, he thinks, seeing how beautiful and quiet it is.

                “I see… I appreciate you for sharing such a thing with me, Oscar.” But that begs the question: if he comes here so that he can be himself, what is the reasoning for this excursion? “Is there…reason for having brought me here, Oscar?” he asks, genuine curiosity in his tone and expression. If anything is wrong with his other, he would like to be the one to help rectify it.

A reason... yes. There was. He closes his eyes and sighs quietly, before closing the door behind his double. He didn't need anyone peeking in.

"Yes... I.. I wish to share this with you. Since you are someone of importance to me." The words do not come without a slight tinge to his cheeks, but he attempts to keep his face hidden. Important was.. a way to put it, wasn't it? There was no denying his fondness for the other at this point.. And while perhaps he still didn't have a name for it.. It still urged him to open up about this to him.

So without wasting another moment, the Praetor makes his way over to the Grand Piano and sits upon the stool, placing his fingers carefully-- as his mother trained him-- and closes his eyes. The notes appear to him straight from memory as his fingers begin gliding across the keys to follow along in a soft and gentle song.

“Oscar,” He addresses- his tone betraying the harsh look in his eyes, for it holds a certain softness to it that indicates a fondness he himself does not even realize.

A gloved hand extends outwards in offering, hanging in the air as he waits for the other to take it.

“There is something I’d like to share with you. Will you come with me?”
