A mirthful laugh bubbles forth, one he just can't hold back as the other hits the ground from his force. How long had it been? Far too long, in his opinion.

He stays within the other's grasp for another moment before rolling over and sitting up, looking down on his double with a grin.

"Ah man, I've been everywhere! Though, I recently traveled through the North and saw the mountains that spew fire... y'know, they're called Volcanoes!"

The Great Lord materialized from the confines of the vessel, settling in front of Sorey firmly. “You need rest.” The Shepherd hasn’t been awake for long yet, and he was still drained from his centuries of sleep. “Let’s keep going in the morning.”

            So this is him. The boy that works to purify Maotelus. What an honor, and yet...quite younger than he had expected. Nearly the same age as his own vessel had been, if not younger. “It’s been some time, has it not, Maotelus?” He doesn’t know the boy’s name, so he bypasses that momentarily, instead speaking to the Empyrean he houses.

A dry laugh escapes him as he stares at the vessel... So this was what had become of Maotelus and the so-called blessed Shepherd he had heard so much about. Was this the result of letting that Malak take up such an important role? For him to give in to Malevolence a mere 1000 years later?

"I see you've failed in your mission.. Was it not your dream to purify and fix this broken world?" Was he talking to Maotelus..or the Shepherd? Perhaps both? One can't be sure, but he imagines the effect is the same. They had both made that promise before.

"Perhaps it was a mistake on our end to aid you.."
