I mainly got inspired by @ask-tacomic-shipkids @ask-ii-ship-kiddos @askthe-iii-shipchildren, and Asks for the Kids by Ace/fluff on Wattpad. Just fankid posts in general inspire me. They’re all so cool!

I will warn you that I’m REALLY BAD at catching references, even bfdi/osc ones. It’s a thing…. So don’t expect me to get it… Sorry in advance. Also I will word things weird and ominous so sorry too.

Heya Steak I was wondering what your relationship with your siblings are like. If they’re even your siblings? I think they are but if they’re not I’m sorry I’m not well versed in Object biology.

Either way, siblings or not I’m curious what your relationships with Canned Heat, and Shield are like. Oh wait wasn’t there one more relationship I wanted to ask about? Oh yeah, Gummy Candy. Can’t believe I almost forgot. So yeah if you don’t mind what’s your relationship with those 3 like.

Sticky Note - ALL OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!! It’s an endless cycle! You let your guilt build up over people that might NEVER forgive and you create this over complicated system to try and “fix” sh▪️t!

Sticky Note - I can’t believe I’m the one saying this, but whatever you are doing isn’t working. Maybe you have to accept that you burn bridges, but adding more people to your problems only burns more… leading to a endless cycle.

Eggnog is sitting in the daycare, watching over the kids for the day. She just calmed them down after the tv turned on to the news network for an emergency announcement. The kids are thankfully playing peacefully now. The text shows up on her screen. She’s glares at it, before sighing and opening the texting app. She heard of the event that occurred from Gluestick the other day.

She thinks, almost losing her train of thought before quickly typing her response.

💬 Hi Equals. It’s perfectly okay! I understand that you had good intentions! I’m glad you are willing to apologize too! I know you didn’t mean it like that. I’m excited to see you again! 🙂 💬

She closes her phone. She knows her friend. He wouldn’t do something like that again.

Sticky Note is sitting in her room. The fairy lights dimly light up her journal. The beanbag she is sitting in hardly sinks under her light weight. A radio is playing names from a list.

Her head shifts up as Equals suddenly appears before her with a simple pop. He doesn’t say anything.

Sticky Note - Oh what do YOU want?

He teleports her with him, leaving an unattended journal in her place.

Penny - Hey Notes… I’m glad you showed up.

Sticky Note - I mean… yeah, of course I’d show up. Is this about the band? I mean, no one else is here except me and you.

(Penny breathes in deeply as the two fall into a silence. Penny abruptly says what’s on her mind)

Penny - One year.

Sticky Note - What? You can’t just start a conversation like that and expect anyone to understand?

Penny - Ugh! One year of this “ReStart”* I’m so sick of this!

Penny - One year of tip-toeing around death! One year of prices going sky high! One year of jobs being almost impossible to get. All of this just to “prove my worth” to a society that wants objects like me dead… Of course you don’t understand… I thought it would be different.

Sticky Note - Ok, what? Penny, this is definitely escalating way too quickly. You’re hardly letting me-

Penny - REALLY?! I’m escalating things? At least I’M actively trying to do something about my situation. But you guys don’t care! Hell, you guys even made that stupid blog to ignore this problem!

Sticky Note - Don’t act like I like that blog. Eggnog just wanted to do something “fun”Simple.

(Penny pauses. They are still fuming as they open and close their mouth a few times, struggling to find the words. She eventually settles on a statement)

Penny - Most you can’t acknowledge that people are dying out there… Being forgotten, people being forced to live like this.

Sticky Note - I’m not trying to ignore the problem. Not like Yellow or GlueStick… I just don’t know what to do. It’s been a year and it still feels like it just happened yesterday.

Penny- …

(The two sit there, the tension only grows. This isn’t the first time Penny has expressed this concern. The guilt catches up with Penny. It feels like forever before Penny decides to handle the guilt)

Penny - You know, I didn’t mean to throw you under the bus like that… I uh, needed an outlet, and… I’m sorry you’ve been that outlet lately.

Sticky Note - It’s fine… It will be fine eventually. (💭 maybe I should pick up that pen…)
