like wow yeah its dangerous when drivers are distracted by things while they drive, say giant pictures just off to the side of the road that you can see every couple miles or so. we really should do something about that

for those who don’t remember, “mole interest” was an experiment I did 2 years ago because I wanted to test what causes tags to go trending on tumblr. My hypothesis was that all it takes is one (1) post blowing up in an established tag to make the entire tag trend.
I had randomly generated 2 words, which is where “mole interest” came from. I failed to consider that by generating a new tag, it wouldn’t have had enough posts already in it to prove what I now call “the mole interest effect”.
But now it does.
In 2023, we said “fuck it” a la mythbusters and ended up doing whatever it took to get #mole interest to trend. And it did. And it happened to be September 11th that day, and we managed to get #mole interest to trend ABOVE #9/11.
So, in the name of science, I ask you to reblog just this post. Let’s put the mole interest effect to the test.

It varies by region and what you're using for equipment, but generally speaking i would recommend a two-piece suit, alongside a good amount of knowledge and literature on the political stance of anarchism. Not sure why the cops care so much about your illicit production of salt water, but hey.

Calcium Hypochlorite and Muriatic Acid (or, more commonly, Hydrochloric Acid) are both highly corrosive chemicals. At the bare minimum, they should be handled with rubber protective equipment on the hands, alongside eye protection, within an active fume hood. Calcium Chlorate, while comparatively safer, is still an irritant and oxidizing agent, and as such should be stored apart from the other chemicals and any flammable material. Chemical safety is, admittedly, not my degree of expertise, but as long as you handle these with extreme care and make sure to avoid any skin contact or inhalation of fumes, you should be mostly fine. Also, don't call me that.

Technically speaking, this appears to be someone doing some form of maintenance within their own home, on their own accord. As such, I believe OSHA regulations cannot be applied here.
That being said, it should be obvious why this is unsafe. The platform assembly depicted is clearly unstable, and at the very least will likely cause significant damage to the books, as they are not designed to carry the weight of a whole person. This is, at the very least, a good example of why safety regulations are so important (a message quite important in our current political climate). The proper thing here would be to get a ladder or stepladder sized appropriately for reaching the opening, and not doing so has very visibly severely endangered the worker.

Restaurants chosen for OSHA inspection must comply with the inspector. However, theoretically I don't believe any specific inspector being banned is actually an issue, especially as it was due to interpersonal interaction separate from their duty as an active part of the U.S. federal government.
Now that I have laid that part out, I must also stress that the barring of two federal inspectors from their property and insistence on no need for an inspection has been marked as a potential sign of inspection necessity, and for Osmow's to attempt the prevention of that inspection would be a federal crime.
Also we haven't gotten an OSHA 300 from these guys in, like, nine months. Which could mean nothing.

This actually shows an important thing to watch out for -- the pictured worker is using the top step of his stepladder as a step, which can be very unsafe and violates OSHA guideline 1926.1053(b)(13).
