I've been letting Riff and Pocket spend some time getting acclimated, about ten minutes or so at a time, and it's going really well. Here is Pocket curled up with Riff's tail.

I love sunlit morning feedings with my new baby! 😉 He's too tiny to stay in the carrier I usually use (the door grate has holes he could squeeze through) so he's been staying in a tall plastic bin full of soft paper bedding next to my bed overnight. I check on him constantly, like a new mom. 😁 He gets along very well with Riff (Riff ADORES him) but I want to stay on the safe side and get them more acclimated before Pocket stays in the same cage permanently. Osiris loves Pocket as much as the rest of us! He fits right into our little family.

Username update! When this account was first started, Osiris and Riff were the only animals featured. Over the last year and a half, Maria has joined our family, Milhouse has come and sadly gone, and our newest addition Pocket has nestled into our hearts (and our shirt pockets). Since Riff isn’t Osiris’ only little buddy and I don’t want to exclude anyone, it seems fitting to change our Instagram username to include all of Osiris’ friends. I hope this doesn't confuse too many of you! Our website, email, and Facebook URL will remain the same for the time being. Thank you for following! 💕
