One of the best parts of being a fan of Osomatsu is that he’s the lead in promos and campaigns. As the default matsu, he gets more screentime than the others. Just take a look at the movie announcement. Also, upon the release of the DoCoMo and Tensei-Bakabon commercials, Oso’s mascot is the only one so far who has been given a voice-over.

Furthermore, being a fan of an unpopular Matsu means that more merch is still available. Whenever I go to conventions, the Kara and Ichi stuff are almost always sold out, while heaps of Oso and Choro stuff are still left unsold. And everybody likes to dress up as Jyushi, so if you dress as Oso, you’ll definitely stand out.

In conclusion, I love this man child so much. Just look at him! Osomatsu boys and girls, you get me, right?
