So I just finished watching shigatsu kimi no uso, I've been watching it since last night. I expected it to be like a regular triangle fluffy love situation with music and a dash of the anime Nodame Cantiblle. Little did I know this was gonna be about the psychological break down of a young boy and a terminal ill girl going through their struggles together. This was way too adult for and made me feel so many emotions. I keep forgetting that you shouldn't judge an anime by its description because anime is not for kids. I mean I'm not a kid but I'm a kid at heart. Anyways I digress, I fell so deep in love with the art and soundtrack, also with classical choices they made. It fit very well with each episode. The story line of the 2 main characters were done so well, especially when you get to know the other characters and their backstory. It didn't feel pushed it felt like it was needed to give the whole show a 3 dimensional feel. Everything about this anime is so good and will leave you with a great satisfaction. I totally recommend this to anyone even if you don't like classical music you'll still be captured by the story line. WARNING: this show may give you side effects of the otaku feels, major puffiness in the eyes and face, an aching heart, and leave you with the though of reevaluating your whole life. Have a tissue on hand, a blanket to cuddle, and a soundproof room so that your yelling and screaming won't disturb everyone else.
