It's very clear that Netflix made the decision to cancel Warrior Nun before they even released the 2nd season.

The viewing metrics and online engagement that they gained in the first month of the 2nd season alone is what you want from shows, and they got that despite burying it and giving it zero promotion.

This news felt like a gut punch because the show actually started thriving despite everything Netflix did to ensure it couldn't thrive. It just comes down to the fact that they had their mind made up already, and there was clearly nothing that could be done.

I freaking hate Netflix's quantity over quality model. They constantly churn out garbage and when something finally gains traction and develops a fandom where you can monetize something further with merchandise (of a product they freakin' own might I add) they cancel it anyway?

I'm soooo tired. I'm done with them. Done. Fuck Netflix.

Totally legitimate reasons why vol. 9 got delayed:

Weiss is so pale that while on the beach, she causes additional light reflections that take way too long to render

The sand simulations of the obligatory beach episode volleyball tournament are kinda busting the animation budget for this year

They’re still working on the herculian task of sculpting Yang’s abs to look as if Michelangelo himself chiseled them out of the finest marble

Ruby’s breakdown has been rewritten 7 times

Arryn can’t finish the voice acting for the Bumbleby kiss scene because she always starts to cry out of sheer happiness

Please don’t plagiarize and then call it inspiration. There's a difference between being inspired by certain aspects of someone's art, and then straight up copying and lifting someone's unique individual art style/flair. Tweaking the color and character doesn’t take away from the fact you are copying, and without credit nonetheless. It isn’t the slightest bit subtle and it hurts.
