Team Assessment

In our group project, I contribute mainly in the making of the information campaign which discuss what is upcycling all about, what is the example of upcycled materials, what are the list of common things that you can upcycle, what is the result if everybody upcycles and the two main reason why you should upcycle your discarded things. In the individual project, I'm struggling to manage my time between my studies and ministry, but I’m glad because I was able to overcome my struggles with the help of God. :)

Each and every member of our group contributed in the group project. None of us are freeloader. We really have a good teamwork despite of constraint in schedules, we still manage to accomplish what we need to get done. James and Ian did most of the part of 1.1 which is the 10 items inside the campus that will be upcycled. Angeli and Kendrick worked hard in the personal items of members which will be upcycled. I did most of the information campaign which encourage upcycling and Kyle did the SWOT analysis of upcycling

Being a servant of Christ and a student at the same time is not an easy task. I really need to sacrifice a lot of time, energy and effort in order to achieve what is meant to be delivered. Most of the time I lack sleep and I just slept for almost 4 to 6 hours. But by the grace of God I am still able. I believe my college experience may even have helped me learn to manage my time properly because I know when I’m already working it will be even more of a struggle to manage my time. What I need to do to become more productive and to produce output in a timely manner, I should focus on one task at a time.

As a student we have cultivated our own culture inside the class. I expect in the workplace it would not be like that. In college, acting unprofessional might result in a bad grade or a lecture from an administrator or professor; in the workplace, acting unprofessionally can get you fired. I admit that I have an attitude like being a joker most of the time which is somehow I admit, not in the right place. But to be able to gain the respect of the people surrounding me, I must be able to act like an honorable man. In order to be professional at all times, I definitely need to adjust my attitude towards the people surrounding me. I should just act based on the individual which I’m with.

College has not prepared me for everything. I always believe that learning is continuous and it should never stop in the four corners of the room. I heard a lot of overwhelming issues in the workplace and a lot of stress that I might face. I believe that education is not preparation for life; education is my life itself. I need to make sure that I always learn from either good or bad circumstances. But the best preparation for my future is to do my best today!

Everything in my life I surrendered already to Jesus. My pride is in Him and I’m proud to say that I overcome every temptations in my life that destroys my personality. I’m a sexual immoral, addicted to pornography, DOTA and a lot of computer games. I’m a foul-mouthed guy who always declares negative words from my mouth and I always cursed people. But everything changes when I encountered Jesus.  My old life was already gone! God gave me a new identity and I’m proud to say that today I’m one of His mighty leaders. Living a sinful life and depending on the pleasures of this world is not an awesome life at all. It’s difficult trying to change just by your own, I already did that and it didn’t work. The moment I surrendered my life to the Lord I can say that it is the BEST DECISION I have ever made in my life. I believe all things are possible through Him because His name has the POWER to change your LIFE!
