Other Islands Press is a small, independent publisher dedicated to new fiction and poetry. Founded in 1980 as a poetry magazine, it was relaunched in 2010 as a literary press.

Founder Joe Gonnella is a bookseller and lifelong bibliophile.

Co-founder Allegra D’Adamo has over 20 years experience in the publishing industry, including Director of Marketing & Subsidiary Rights for Ecco Press and The New Press, Associate Publisher for Aperture and Publicity Director for Warner Books.
