hi! this is for the demonkin/angelkin anon: demons and angels are actually very similar! they could really be considered the same species even, as many beings have both an angelic and a demonic form. (angelic forms let a spirit work on higher planes, demonic forms let a spirit work on lower planes.) additionally, lots of demons have wings, even feathery ones, and lots of angels have 'demonic' features like horns or leathery wings etc. i hope this helps you at all!! :)

Note: that info was for angels in general. If anons considering maybe being abrahamic angelkin specifically I'm afraid I can't help. I'd say just talk to angelkin and demonkin on what parts of themselves they feel are connected to their kintype and see which you identify as (and look into beings like fae too). It's also possible you may be, say, demonkin and angelhearted or something which is also completely valid, I'm both otherkin and otherhearted myself. Good luck figuring out your identity!

There is a huge variety of appearance in angels and demons, at the very least many of them being natural shapeshifters. I can't speak for demonkin as I am not demonkin but on the subject of angelkin there is no really set parameters for angelness. There are things which seem to be common amoungst angels such as a strong focus on karmic justice, a strong set of moral standards, a strong passion for the cause you believe in but no real constants appearance-wise, though many do have wings.

@demonkin anon: To my knowledge, in some religions demons are just fallen angles in some cases. So it could be that you were an angle who fell and became a demon, but you still have wings like that and stuff.

All my life I've felt a strong connection to felines (even as a kid I would draw them a lot and had all sorts of cat things) so I feel I'm most likely felinekin or catkin!! But more recently I've been feeling like I'm probably also deerkin! Is that possible?

So I'm spacekin and i've seen others who have like celestial bodies (like a star pattern over a character desgin) to repersent them. I draw myself as that but without the stars so im just jet black. I don't know where my stars went, but would this even make me a spacekin or would i be void? whats the difference?

this is absolutely not true!
first and foremost, the main (and rather neglectful) mod of this blog is a teenager! i think its great to see so many young kids figuring themselves out at such a early age!
while, okay, it may be true some of them wont identify as otherkin as they grow, it doesnt make them any less valid!
the validity of somebodys identity is only defined by whether or not they identify as it, and thats it!

For the demonkin who felt drawn to nature, they could also look into daemons. Daemons were nature spirits commonly related to demons! However they're a lot more benevolent than the typical "chaos" that is related to demonic beings. I thought the anon may see it if I post this too you, I may reblog the post on my account as well.
