7KPP Holiday Gift Exchange 2024-2025

Hello, my dears and happy December!

I had mentally set a little cut-off of seven people to answer the poll saying they were interested in participating in a gift exchange this year to determine whether we would have one this year, and that number has been met, so it's time for signing up for the gift exchange! Even if you did not answer the poll and/or said you would not participate, if you are interested, feel free to sign up! If you did say you would participate and have changed your mind, that's okay too!

For those interested in signing up, the spreadsheet can be found here. Please fill it out and include as much information as possible, to make it easier for your gifter to decide what to gift you! The deadline for signing up will be 11:59 pm EST on December 21, 2024. After this, I will set up the drawing. No new names added will be added to the drawing after the deadline. However, the spreadsheet will be available for editing for those who want to provide more information after signups. As a reminder, the posting day will be tentatively set to February 14, 2025, but this may be subject to change as we check in with our participants.

Since the game will be out for over 7 months by the time the posting day rolls around, spoilers for the full game are allowed, unless specified by the participant in the spreadsheet! Please respect people's preferences on this matter, and spoiler tag anything for those who are following along!

As in previous years, there is absolutely no pressure to participate, but if you are interested, please feel free. The guidelines for gifts are open, though we have generally stuck to fan creations. For some gift ideas or just to see what cool and creative presents people have made, feel free to check out previous years’ collections, which can all be found on this tumblr!

7KPP Secret Santa 2024-2025

Hello my dears! I hope the end of the year has been treating you well! This post is long so a quick tl;dr at the end. :)

Because I have once again been negligent, it's a bit late for setting up our usual timeline for Secret Santa. However, I'm happy to organize something for a few months out (I'm thinking Valentine's Day or so) if people are still interested!

If so, the general timeline (because I have learned from last year's failure and will pick a date in advance) would probably be signups starting sometime next week running until around Christmas (say, December 10-21), drawing names a little after that (around December 27th), and then posting around February 14th, though the schedule is always flexible to accommodate people as needed.

I know we likely have some new people to the fandom, what with early access, so as a quick rundown, 7KPP Secret Santa is a fandom gift exchange, where you sign up to give and receive a gift in the form of a fanwork. Typically, this takes the form of fanart/fanfiction/edits, though it can really be whatever you want that can be easily shared, ideally without spending money. For some inspiration of what people have done in the past, feel free to check out our tags for previous exchanges (for example, 2022 and 2021).

So very quickly, an interest poll.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the early access to 7KPP! Now that we've had a few months to play around and try out many MANY branches in the game (and Mod Tina has had some time to recover from finishing her graduate degree), it's time for 7KPP Week!

As a reminder, and for any newcomers to the fandom, 7KPP Week is basically a week of short prompts that we the mods come up with, intended as an opportunity to inspire and share fanworks that showcase our love for the game. Any types of fanworks are welcome, from fanart or fanfiction to meta, playlists, or just long rambles about your thoughts! We're all just here to spread our love and positivity!

Note: As the game has been out for several months now, spoiler content is perfectly welcome, and indeed encouraged in some of the prompts, and some prompts may include spoilers! Please be aware if you wish to participate or spectate!

Day Five - Secrets

If your MC had a discoverable secret at the Summit for other characters to find, what would it be? Would it be a chain? Something that is needed to get to know them? Is it blackmail material?

Day Six - Suitcase

Does your MC bring any non-essentials with them to the Summit? What do they take home with them afterwards?

Day Seven - Epilogue

We got glimpses of what the ending looked like for your character post-Summit. Are there any other scenes you have in your mind's eye? Anything that you would change? What does life look like for your characters after the end?

The 7KPP fan community is now open!

Hi all!

Just letting you know that I was, in fact, able to get approval for a fan community. It's still pretty new, so it looks like I'll have to add you all manually (and I can't add any other mods yet). Also, the community itself is pretty bare-bones, since I made it on my phone and wasn't able to add a banner/avatar in my request. (Hopefully we will be able to change this in the future!) However, that doesn't mean we can't start using it!

As a note, and especially for those who are not interested in joining the community, I fully plan to keep this tumblr active moving forward, especially for announcements and updates, but if you want a place where you can make your own posts and connect with other fans directly, feel free to message me and I'll add you! (Also, our discord is always open to new members!)

Hope everyone is looking forward to the countdown for early access! Things are a bit hectic for me right now due to some personal struggles, but I do hope to be able to get some minor events going to build the excitement for early access!.

Flannán's Five-Day Festival

Hi everyone!

Since it’s the unseelie king’s birthday coming up, me, @unseelie-grimalkin and @unseeliethot (are you noticing a bias in usernames?) thought it would be fun to make a fan event for it!

How it works:

Each day from the 17-21st December has two prompts. Pick one (or both if you want, I guess) and make something based on it. Some examples include: art, fic/ story, headcanon, mood board, playlist - anything you like!

You don’t have to do every prompt or every day - there’s no pressure and it’s just for fun. Interpret the prompts however you like!

Tag what you make as #flannan fest 2022 so that we can see it!

This year, I have a bit more free time now (it’s a miracle!), so we’re actually going to start the sign-ups and everything a bit earlier, so we have plenty of time to draw names and work on gifts! Don’t worry though, you’ve still got a few weeks to make up your mind on whether you want to participate this year! (For inspiration, feel free to check out previous years’ 7KPP Secret Santa tags for previous gifts!)

As always, if you’re interested in participating, please fill out this Google Spreadsheet. In order to give everyone time to draw names and create gifts, I’m planning on closing the sign-up on November 5th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST, so please try to at least sign your name up by then. I hope to be able to have the drawing all set up a few days after that. As we’ve done in previous years (except last year), the gift exchange posting day will be tentatively scheduled for January 1st, 2023, but we can check in as the time gets closer to get a better idea of how people are looking.

I leave guidelines for the gifts open for each participant. The only thing I ask is to try and avoid alpha content spoilers so everyone can enjoy the gifts without having to worry about whether or not there are spoilers.

Hello, my lovelies! I have finally gotten off my butt to finish putting together the Promptober 2021 list! And yes, we’re changing it to to Promptober to make it more apparent that the list is meant to be for all types of media, not just writing… even if there’s usually where my brain first goes!

Anyway, in case you didn’t see the previous post, we’re going to be doing something slightly different this year! The first week will be following the prompt list that was created (and BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED) by the ever-talented @teaandinanity​, found here! Meanwhile, for the rest of the month, I have once again set up a daily word list, which you can find at the end of the post. Just like last year, I’ll also be posting a prompt every day as a reminder.

Tina let me poach the first week of our fandom Fictober and make it silly, so I’ve cooked up a little autumn-themed prompt menu for the first seven days (Friday, October 1st through Thursday, October 7th).

Tea says poach, I say that she gave me a freebie for a week. Thank you for helping start the process when I’ve been hit by the grad school inertia, and ESPECIALLY with such ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS art. Any banner I could make pales in comparison.

Anyway, yes, it is almost October and that means it is almost promptfest time! As the image shows, we’ve got the first week (October 1 - October 7) planned out already with some fun, fall drink themed prompts, for fan creators of all kinds! For people who don’t want to have pressure to participate for a full month, this may be somewhat less pressure! And for those who do want to have another 31 days of daily prompts, I’ll be dropping a list for the rest of the month… soonish. Ideally by the end of the day tomorrow but we’ll see. We have a group meeting tomorrow so I might be coming up with a list then, don’t tell my advisor.

After a suggestion by @anisedreams​ and some support for the idea in the Discord server, I’ve put together a mini promptfest for Valentine’s Day. Since we just had a large event, it’s a smaller event, where you can feel free to make/submit anything that you want. For some variety, you can take inspiration from the following prompts!

7KPP Secret Santa 2020 Logistics

Hello, my dears! I’m finally here with the logistics post. My apologies for the delay; I’ve been pretty out of it with the passage of time this winter break, and I had finals and stuff until the 22nd.

Anyway, in light of some chatter on the Discord and my own personal severe case of procrastination, we will be delaying the deadline/posting day until January 15th, 2021. I’m sorry for the late notification, if you have been rushing to get your present ready, but hopefully this extra time will be helpful for everyone!

Now, the general logistics:

What: The Actual Gift Exchange Part Where: Here on tumblr.com! When: January 15th, 2021, at whatever time in whichever timezone you live in. The posts will be a bit scattered over the course of the day, but that’ll make it a bit of a surprise when your gift gets posted/seen! How: When posting, please mention (with the @ so they get a notification) of the person you’re gifting, if you can. If you can’t mention them (which happens occasionally, thanks tumblr), then try to send them an ask to let them know it’s been posted. Please use the tag “7kpp secret santa 2020″ or “7kpp secret santa” when posting, since I’ll be tracking those tags so I can reblog all the gifts here!

As before, please don’t stress about your gift! The hope is to spread cheer around, particularly with 2020 the way that it was, so this isn’t supposed to be stressful in any way!

Hello, my dears! Sorry I’m a few days late (this weekend turned out to be really busy with homework), but sign-ups are now closed for 7KPP Secret Santa 2020 and it is time to draw your names! Thank you to everyone who signed up!
