I think some of y'all don't actually genuinely believe in restorative justice and really what you want to see is violence enacted towards the specific demographics you think are deserving of it. Anyways no the answer to what we do with people who commit a specific evil crime is not to kill all the perpetrators of that crime but to give unwavering help and support to the victims, to as a society provide thorough education that will help keep people safe from either encountering these situations where they might be harmed or prevent people from going down a road of wanting to commit those crimes in the first place, to listen to the warning signs that people give about their suspected risk of danger before they become victims, to remove perpetrators ability to have access to their victims again and guide them to a path that would have them change to never repeat that evil again. And as complicated as all of that is, I promise you no one has to fucking die about it jesus christ.

This means that making your own copies of existing garments is perfectly legal in the US (that's also why so many "designer" items are covered with "designer" prints, because those prints can be copyright/trademark protected)

(the linked article is about what you can do with sewing patterns specifically, but the underlying "clothing designs cannot be copyrighted" point remains, and, yes, of course, I know that "legality" has its own discourse, but some people worry about what could happen if they were "caught" copying a garment design, and the answer, legally, is "nothing") (the debate about the morality of copying from small designers is a different discussion)
