Hi y'all! It's plaid week and we're posting all things plaid! The Plaid Parade is November 12 at 11am with a starting point at Cycle Salvation (side entrance on McLeod). After the parade join us for a pancake breakfast at Causeway. We'll be raising bike donations for Cycle Salvation. If you have a bike to donate you can drop it off before or after the parade at Cycle Salvation. Bike donations are also accepted on an ongoing basis. ❤️🚲 (at Cycle Salvation)

Meet @crownflora : "Parkdale is located in the west end part of Queen Street. Local businesses are supported and thrive because of the diverse demographic of the neighbourhood. Food options are plenty and we love trying new things from various different cultures. Parkdale runs along Lakeshore which has beautiful bike paths along Lake Ontario. There are quite a number of murals and art installations by local and some famous artists. The BIA is very supportive of the arts community so there’s always funding for beautifying the neighbourhood.  We love @samjamescoffeebar for their lattes. @queenwestantiquecentre is also a great spot for mid-century modern items. (at Parkdale, Toronto)

Meet @crownflora: "The Ossington neighborhood is a short bike ride from our store. There are tons of great little shops and independent stores. We love going to @superpoint184 pizza. It’s open late when you need that after party pizza fix."

Next stop on my bike ride is the park. It’s a perfect urban oasis to lay in the grass, have a picnic and people watch. Don’t forget to take these Coca-Cola mini cans. They’re small and convenient to put in bike baskets!

Check out @curbkit and their Kickstarter campaign -- "At CurbKit we love to get where we're going on our bicycles but through the years we've had a real problem finding awesome looking and functional go-anywhere cycling clothes.
