For y'all who don’t know, basically, Nadine tweeted about Harley and Joker right and put a heart emoji. Then the controversy about their relationship happened where people questioned kung bakit nag-ship si Nadine ng dalawa dahil sa abusive relationship nila. Mainly some Kathniel fans started making fun of Nadine saying some things tungkol sa relationship ni Jadine. Saying things like “maybe she ships them because Jadine’s relationship is absuive. Joke lang!” Which i don’t agree with at all because it’s totally inappropriate to joke about abusive relationships. Pero, Nadine tried to explain her logic in the second photo which still doesn’t make sense to me because she said “goals” but not “relationship goals”. Honestly I feel like she didn’t know enough about the comic and background of Harley and The Joker so she tried to come up with an explanation for her logic, but then again I don’t know Nadine personally. In the first tweet, she put a heart between the names, which would imply a ship right? And then again why would someone have madness as their “goals” whether it’s “relationship goals” or not. She then posted the "🙄" emoji obviously showing she was irritated. I don't know why, but I just feel like she doesn't react professionally online when it comes to situations like this where small things blow up. I have respect for both Nadine and James, pero minsan, they take out their aggression through posts and tweets which I feel is a bit immature. Now I know there will be people that will back them up no matter what, but the point of this whole rant is to basically point out how celebrities should take responsibility of their actions. A lot of girls and boys look up to Nadine and the fact that she somewhat supported an abusive relationship, whether it's fictional or not, without addressing her mistake is kinda serious. Any impressionable teen could look up to her enough to think "oh, Nadine likes relationships like Harley and Jokers, siguro okay ang relationships na ganyan". And the fact that she had that tone in the second screenshot when talking to Irish, was a little unprofessional. I know they're friends but it didn't seem so much like a friendly tease to me. I just feel like when celebrities act a bit stubborn or hot-headed or basically doesn't take into consideration what they're saying online (or offline), especially without addressing it afterwards, it makes it seem okay for them to act that way all the time. I don't think James or Nadine are mayabang o masyadong sariling sarili or inconsiderate, pero minsan they let they're emotions/anger get the best of them and so do many celebs but that doesn't make it okay. Many people look up to them and many people defend them too, which isn't okay. As fans, we should address a problem that our idols have and hopefully they notice it and take action and responsibility for it. Because of Nadine's big fandom, she is supported no matter what, and that's not right because not everything she or anyone does is right and people should be corrected of their wrong doings not be praised for it. No, I'm not bashing on Nadine or James or anything of that nature. I'm just expressing my opinion on the issue and how they should act as celebrities with many people, many impressionable teens who look up to them. Okay that's it bye
