This piece is from my forthcoming show and FW16 Line "THEORY." The lines meet at our third eye, and aren't just random lines, but actually the position of Earth, our only home, in correlation to our sun and the universe. This pattern was developed by Carl Sagan and NASA to be a universal communication to extraterrestrials, and put aboard the space shuttle Voyager 1, which was the first human made probe to leave our solar system and achieve interstellar space travel. As of today, its mission has spanned 38 years, 7 months, and 18 days. It's still out there, drifting and seeing the farthest reaches of the universe we will never know. It's a dream really. And if found, on board, is a solid gold Vinyl, of sounds and recordings that summarize humanity. A time capsule, for no one. This piece is called "ELYSIUM" from the Greek mythology of a field of heaven for mortals who prove themselves to be great. To be among the fields of the gods. It makes you think, of all the pointless quarrels, wars, violence and injustices that we endure on this planet, what is it all for? Are we headed towards order? Or are we headed towards chaos?
