Lately, stupid-ahh-adult work has been driving me crazy, so I really needed to relax and reconnect with my artistic side. So I made my own ponysona using the paper appliqué technique. It was actually pretty cool, by the way. Give it a try.

Here’s my piece for a little art project. We decided to illustrate random songs, so mine was “In my room” by Insane clown posse.

You might be thinking: What the heck?

And I’ll say: That’s just how I feel.

Long story short. At first, I wanted to do a strip club scene, because the song practically screams for some edgy themes. But. That’s totally not my style.

I wanted something more metaphorical and ambiguous. That’s why you see a plastic Barbie in a dollhouse. And a psychopathic lover. I don’t want to explain the meaning behind the whole image, so if you want to figure it out, listen to the song and tell me what you think🖐️

The stand itself serves as a protective shell for a magical pearl that can predict the future.

Henya makes a request to Nutshell, and it “writes” a prediction using a Ouija board. It takes a very, very long time. That’s why a single prediction can take weeks, or even months.

Henya is a local fortune-teller, or maybe a former charlatan. I don’t know anything about her.

My friends said these characters would fit best in the third JoJo part, so I'll take their word for it. But I'd love to hear your thoughts too!
