It’s like… oh, Users… it’s like you’re updating, but you only do the update a few lines at a time. And sometimes the update you get only gives you part of what you need, and you can still access it, but there’s no result, so you have to wait for the rest of the update in order to do anything with the information. And then all of the updates, they make this net, that fits together with other nets at different points when they’re related. Some days you might realize that it would be easier to do something if the nets were connected at other points, so you do an update and that fixes the net so it’s easier to do and…
… does that make sense…?
That sounds incredibly tedious. How do you manage?
It’s very satisfying to master something, or to reach a point where others recognize your skill in something. You know it was because of your own hard work and merit that you achieved such things.
That does sound like...a very dramatic difference. There is little achievement in programmed tasks, I suppose. Not that programs don't work hard, of course.
I think I understand. Once you were used to the mechanic and the rules surrounding it, it must have become easier to comprehend the more advanced techniques. It’s that way for me with… almost all things, actually, but I do not upgrade to gain the basics of the new skill. I have to learn that through study.

I have had to take up new residence due to some… issues being worsened by my new programming, and one of the house residents knows your name. Are you familiar with a small, dark-haired program?

If it would please you… In theory, I suppose that is a fit explanation. I was more capable of social interaction immediately after the update, but I did not gather, ah, subtle finesse until much later on.

He attempted to assassinate CLU and failed. It was a last-ditch effort anyways, very high-risk, and he was so blinded by his anger that he was taken out from behind by a sentry.
I recovered his disc after the fact.

Then the Advanced would mean… that there was also a Basic Notation and Tiling Assistant…?
