Dear followers,
Thank you so much for all of your love and support. I apologize that this blog has not been updated, we are very heartbroken that Melody has passed. We will post more information as we can. She is no longer in pain and was a beautiful light who received a lot of love during her struggles. Thank you again for everything, it has meant the world to us and her family.

An update from Melodyβs mom!!
Letβs just hope Melody gets transferred to her hospital, she will certainly be better treated there! The pain episodes are still on and the medicines (paracetamol mostly) arenβt given to her until sheβs suffering enough.
(Thereβs a new video in her facebook page, I wonβt post it, I havenβt even watched it, but you can check it if you want. Her mom says Melody was in pain for 20 minutes before the nurse gave her the medicine and our little girl just fell asleep sobbing and in pain. As I said, Iβm on a trip (it was a very long ride) and when I got back to the hotel yesterday I just went to sleep, I was very tired!
Iβm posting Melodyβs mom interview instead of summarizing the that text, I think itβs going to be better!
Good News, everyone! Melody's parents won't be taken to Court anymore! She's not at risk to be away from her family anymore! It's a little step, but an important one to Melody get back home and her her medicine and treatments back too πππ

I donβt know if you remember, but in a post I told you that yellow is Melodyβs favourite colour, and that the yellow heart is used by her mom to represent her...
So, she is using this yellow heart and asking for people to do the same to bring attention to her cause. Itβd be awesome if we did the same, just change our profile pics for a couple of days, at least, and share donations links oftenly, maybe posting them in your bio as well!

So, Iβve got two interviews of Melodyβs parents to be posted. This, and the other one (which I just found out exceedes the Tumblr rules - itβs over 5 minutes - so Iβll share a direct link to the other video, okay?

Both are really heartbreaking and I spent the past hour crying (Iβve been reading some old updatings too).
The hospital is trying to have Melody taken to a foster care because they say Melodyβs not in pain, they say itβs a behavioural thing (when she cries and tries to put out her Hickman line) and that morphine is a tooΒ βstrongβ medicine to be given and the reason why her liver is failling.
Just pay attention to her parentβs explanation (mostly in the other video) about this.
In her facebook page, there are many videos of Melody in pain her mom was advised to keep sharing (against the hospital will). I personally canβt stand watching them (believe me, Iβve tried), because I canβt see her like that, and Iβd rather notΒ to share them here, though I will if you want. Just wanted to say I was on a trip with my family in the past week and as there was almost no internet, I couldnβt update myself of Melodyβs situation, thatβs why I didnβt post anything these days.
I also needed a break for a few things Iβve been dealing with myself (which has nothing to do with this blog, so no details, Iβm not here to bore!)
Iβll be updating myself now and updating this blog in the next couple of days, Iβm sure there are many new info about Melody and I donβt wanna miss any important detail, so please, be patient with me, okay?
