Penguins openly explore US museum during coronavirus closure
A group of Humboldt penguins from the Kansas City Zoo were allowed to tour the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Missouri for a dose of fine art.
With the coronavirus pandemic causing both institutions to shut down, the cultural field trip came about as the flightless birds were in need of stimulation. âQuarantine has caused everyone to go a little stir crazy, even the residents of the Kansas City Zoo,â the museum wrote on its Facebook page.
âIt seems that penguins like to take in a little culture too.â

Art Of Quarantine: 9 Famous Art Posters Adjusted To Quarantine This is an awesome way to raise awareness and give the message to follow the basic rules of quarantine. Looma agency came up with the idea of âArt of Quarantineâ social campaign and gave a new look to these clasic art pieces to teach us how to stop the spread of COVID-19 and stay safe. I found these posters on: Bored Panda
Which is the name of the first Hopper painting shown in this site? The one in which a woman is looking the landscape through the window, and we only see her back. Tks!!
I couldnât find the name for that one! But thereâs a very similar painting by him called âWestern Motelâ it looks like itâs the same place and the same woman.
How are you feeling these days?
I wanna hear from you! How have you been feeling with the social distancing? What have you been up to? Did you discover any new hobbies? For you what is the most difficult thing about quarantine?
Let me know where are you from and how's the situation over there.
