I love this.
one time this nondescript guy came into my dunkin donuts and ordered a small black coffee with blueberry flavor shot, and for some reason that peculiar order stuck with me so much that when, seven months later, i saw him in the parking lot walking towards the door, i quickly made a small black coffee with blueberry flavor shot. he ordered it and i was already holding it.Â
i would describe his demeanor that second time as âincredulousâ
my brain can do this kind of stuff but ask me what i did yesterday and my mind is blank
i donât know whats wrong with me but itâs alot
Me holding back tears : letâs get this money
to myself,
i am trying to love you more

Be more like Brandon.
this is extremely good because heâs an outspoken MLB player in a sport where most American athletes are brain-dead MAGAs. Please baseball players be more like Brandon!
He tweeted this while playing for Atlanta, too.Â
I think we need to hear kind things more often. I think they should drip off the tongue freely. kindness is not a finite resource. I think all of us understand the importance of saying âI love youâ, but we should also be more free with hugs. With smiles, With saying âIâm proud of you,â or âyou did a good job.â Thank you. Iâm grateful for everything you do. I am blessed to have you in my life. These are not things we should be saving to say at funerals. We should be saying it while people are still here. Let people know you care about them. Smile. Be kind. The world isnât always kind, and thatâs why itâs our job to change it.
