A smile started to tug its way onto her face as she saw Harley walk over to her with a bowl in one hand, two spoons in the other and she instantly sat up on the couch to allow room for her, a chuckle leaving her as well. “You always know how to cheer me up, Harls,” she grinned. “Uh anyway… I had a couple job interviews and each one got way worse than the last, then I went around seeing if there were any jobs available and honestly no one was hiring, it was just tiring and annoying.”
Harley sat down on the cushions, sinking down before handing one of the spoons to the other girl. “Ice cream cures everything, Mo,” she chuckled, dipping her spoon in to take a bite. “I understand that. Try going into one completely under-qualified and they just laugh at you. Apparently if you didn’t graduate high school, there’s no place for you in the work force. But they’re all idiots for not wanting you.”
