Wolf in Sheepâs Clothing
âYou should know better than to rush in, you fool!â Shunsuke shouted as he grabbed Seungri by the front of his jacket. Heâd known immediately when theyâd arrived at their location that it just wasnât the right one. Heâd pulled his team out long before Seungri had given the news that his squad had conveniently ended up at the correct location. Shunsuke had arrived just as Seungriâs hunters had broken through the barricaded barn doors.
His scolding was cut short when he saw a familiar form gracefully drop to the barn floor from the upper level and slice through two humans, one of them being the newest hunter to join their ranks. Shunsuke immediately shoved Seungri aside and took off at a sprint towards the building. He wasnât going to let Asuma kill anyone else tonight if he could help it.
Seonyuâs vision was blurred by tears. He was running from the wolf one moment when the next another even bigger wolf had appeared out of nowhere. He cowered against a bale of hay, trying his hardest to catch his breath and take in the new situation as Asuma addressed the frightened humans. He had no idea who the man was that had burst onto the scene. He was beautiful and charming, but something seemed overwhelmingly dangerous about him even before he started killing the fleeing humans on the upper level.
Seonyu backed behind the hay, trying to find some way to escape now that the wolves were fighting each other. Or rather, the multiple wolves that had appeared seemed to be focusing on the big one. He screamed from the sound of splintering wood and a loud crash as the doors of the barn were blown open. Seonyu tried to sneak toward the opening so that he could escape, but suddenly another wolf was blocking his path. He backed up again, finding himself cornered.
When the huge black wolf suddenly appeared again, Seonyu took a closer look at the situation. At first, heâd thought they were just fighting each other because they were enemies, but now he was starting to wonder if the wolf was actually protecting him. He pulled his knees up to his chest when the bitten wolf landed several feet away from him, writhing in pain. He looked back to the black wolf with wide eyes, his mouth opening in surprise when he felt like he could actually see concern resonating on the animalâs face.
âSeon-ah!â Seungri called out as he came running towards the terrified boy, skidding to a halt when he saw the giant black werewolf look his way. He knew very well who the wolf was. The Lee Clan had too many close encounters and many more messy aftermaths to clean up because of this wolf and his Master. What he didnât understand was why Chansung was protecting the boy. Was he already turned and Chansung wanted to keep him for himself? It didnât appear that Seonyu was bleeding anywhere. But maybe Chansung was planning on keeping him anyway, he couldnât blame him for that.
Seungri didnât have a chance to try and talk his way closer to the boy. Two of the werewolves Chansung had been fighting had regrouped and lunged at him once again. Seungri took his chance and leapt over the mortally wounded werewolf lying next to Seonyu. He bent down, quickly scooping the boy into his arms and rushed back towards the exit with him to rush him to safety.
Shunsuke struggled to move through the tide of fleeing humans. He was the only one running toward the danger while all the others were desperate to get away. Many had simply jumped to the ground floor, but others were fleeing toward the staircase that led them there. Not seeing a simple path to his target, Shunsuke jumped onto a bale of hay that was beside two more stacked on top of each other. He jumped onto the higher stack and then jumped over the railing of the second floor as the last humans cleared out of the way and gave him a direct path to his enemy.
Heâd never met anyone like Asuma Kousuke and he hoped he never would again for as long as he lived. He was by far the strongest, most dangerous vampire heâd ever come in contact with. In fact, each time they came face to face, he had a harder time trying to kill him. Tonight would be different, though, he wouldnât let Asuma charm his way close. Tonight he would end things and some semblance of peace would return to his life.
âAaaaaaaa Suuuuuuu Maaaaaaaaaaaa!!!â Shunsuke shouted as he dashed towards the gorgeous vampire who looked far too happy to see him. His long leather coat spread out behind him as he ran and a few steps before they were close enough to connect he thrust his hands towards the ground, two katarâs extending from inside his coat. The specially designed weapons were antique, passed down through his family and his most prized possessions. The pointed spike on the weapons were made of wood and on the side of both were two small pistols loaded with silver bullets.
Shunsuke was skilled at hand to hand combat, his speed and precision rivaling that of enhanced beings after years of rigorous training. He struck swiftly, his eyes narrowing further and his frustration mounting as Kousuke dodged each of his attacks with the elegance of a dancer. âDamnit,â he spat as he came quite close to connecting with the vampire, but failed to intersect. âYouâre such a pain in the ass, Asuma! Donât you have anything better to do?!â Shunsuke roared.
Chansung had barely even realized that hunters had joined their little party until he heard a familiar voice. He turned on Seungri, teeth bared. He was waiting for him to make the first move, worried about leaving Seonyu's side, when he ended up being blindsided by two of the other wolves. Taken off guard, Chansung took the full brunt of the hit and was shoved into the side of the barn wall, giving a husky growl as the wolvesâ teeth broke his flesh.
He turned his head, catching a glimpse of Seungri snatching up Seonyu and whisking him away. If he had been bitten, he was pretty sure that once the hunters found out, they would probably kill him. With a sudden jerk he managed to shake the wolves off of him and then attacked again, trying to fight his way through all three of them now to try and get to Seungri. Unfortunately, the hunters had also turned their focus on them now, making things even harder for him.
Kousuke's gaze was full of affection as he drew closer to attacking Shunsuke, but as soon as he drew his weapons, Kousuke dodged and leapt back a little. "Iwa-channn! It's been so long and this is how you greet me?" he whined pitifully, trying to dart around behind his back but as always Shunsuke seemed to be able to expertly read his movements, no matter how quick they were.
It was frustrating sure, but that was one of the things that Kousuke adored about him. Until he had met Shunsuke, he'd never really felt challenged before. Sure some of the hunter's put up a good fight, but he'd never seriously felt like he was in danger until the first time they'd met. It had been an exhilarating thrill to have someone fight him with such skill and determination and despite how their relationship had changed over time, that sincerity in their fights had never faltered.
"Iwa-chan you're so mean," he complained despite how he was smiling from the scolding he had received. "I missed you and wanted to see you!" he added, his pouty, cute expression turning to something much more serious and dangerous. "Besides, these vile creatures deserved death for this fucked up plan of theirs," he growled, lunging toward Shunsuke again with much more force this time.
Each dodged the others attacks over and over but Kousuke made it clear he was enjoying every minute of it. As he leapt aside to avoid another attack, his nails grazed across Shunsuke's cheek. A moment later, his cheeks grew flushed and his knees seemed to weaken. Kou brought his nails to his lips and lightly licked the few drops of blood from them. Kou gave a soft, lustful little moan as his eyes flicked up to meet Shunsuke's again. He licked his lips, desperate to taste more of it.
"Whoops...sorry," he teased, looking anything but apologetic. "Any chance you might let me have some more?" he asked, although at the moment he knew what the answer would be. He rushed back toward him but after only a couple minutes he realized that the situation was turning from their favour. "Tch...guess it's time to go. I'll miss you Iwa-chan~~" he said, blowing the sexy hunter a playful kiss as he leapt back down to the main floor and whistled for Chansung to follow him. The two of them skillfully evaded the other hunters as they fled the barn.
"Did their little hostage escape?" Kousuke asked, glancing over at Chansung as they safely made it back home. He allowed his servant and best friend to take his jacket, but he didn't miss the way his expression seemed troubled. "Seungri-ssi took him," he confessed, and Kou's eyebrows rose from the surprisingly angry and defeated tone that Chansung had. His wounds already healing, Chansung couldn't help feeling guilty. He kept thinking about what might happen to the beautiful little hostage. He'd just wanted him to be able to escape, to maybe be able to have a normal life again but after this, that seemed highly unlikely, especially after being captured by the group of hunters.
