First, Be Reconciled.
Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us the importance of reconciling with or forgiving one another. It is so important that you forgive someone before giving offerings to God. When you know that someone has something against you or you’ve offended someone; you ought to go to that person and reconcile (seek peace, reunite, restore your relationship), before going before God with your praise offering, monetary offering, offering of service, or whatever you offer to God.
Who do you need to reconcile with?
“Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”—Matthew 5:23-24 NKJV
