For Admin McCree: I am working on the Overwatch oc right now and I decided that the oc's gender will be male (ftm) and nationality will be Bulgarian. I'm just still trying to decide on abilities and an ultimate for the oc along with a regular name given to them in the lab, plus on how they turned violent. How To Make a Old Soilder - Admin McCree

Old soilder characters are really interesting and mysterious to me. Making one can be fun! But there’s gonna be some hard things! Gonna show you the dos and the don'ts (I’m on phone sorry) Dos 1. Make the character in their late fifties, early sixties maybe (preferably) 2. Please do some reasearch on the culture(s) they come from! 3. The character will need to be thought out. Are they thought to be dead like Ana? Taken on a new name like Soilder 76? Or are they still alive *and maybe well* like Reinhardt? 4. You could do PTSD but please look information up on it! 5. Were they on the front lines? Back up? Medic? Sniper? Tank? Were they overwatch? Or blackwatch? Who do they side with?

Don'ts 1. Make an exact replica of Canon 2. Go over board with mental or physical 3. Make them have a total 180 personality change (unless they have Multiple Personality Disorder…than I mean yea?) 4. “Old Soilder” character : 32 5. *if you make your character married to a canon I will ult on your ass*

So I see this blog is for help with Overwatch ocs and I was wondering if I could have help with an oc I want to make. I have a few ocs that I had friends help me with, but I want to make another oc. I'm currently stuck between a hero that controls water, a hero that uses magic, or a hero that is a super soldier created in a lab to be used for purposes of peacekeeping but has turned violent. I just need help in deciding which idea would work best. :)

I would go with the super soldier. I would watch out with using specifics such as magic in your characters. There are a lot of science based characters in Overwatch cannon and lore, so you may want to try and incorporate that somehow!~Momma Mercy~
