So.... she is now a fan character or something???? Idk my brain is rooting and it say "hey why you do turn alba into a owlboy fan character? It could be funny" so i did. Whats next idk maybe make some lore. Also there's a lot of other stuff im workin on i just can say i love been a multifandom critter ouh yeahhhhh. And yes a little doodle feat Asio bcs he is te cause of all of this that damn old owl and his "Paparruchas" (my first time drawing him sorry 😭)

starting to play owlboy and i’ll hold my final judgements until i actually finish but currently the way asio is written seems unnecessarily cruel and makes me actively not want to play it.
i might end up being wrong but currently it feels like great graphics, good gameplay, underwhelming writing :/

VIDEO GAME: Otus (Owlboy) - Nonverbal
Otus is the protagonist of the story. A young owl who was born mute, he studies under his strict owl mentor, Asio.
An owl cloak that he was given during his training makes him capable of flight. However, he is poorly regarded in the village of Vellie and is considered an unworthy successor to the Owl's heritage.
Since he is a mute, Otus expresses himself through his body language and facial expressions.
To express approval and/or happiness, Otus puts his hands on his hips and flashes a big smile.
To express disapproval and/or anger, Otus takes an aggressive stance and ruffles his feathers.
When he is nervous he wraps his cape around himself, and when he is sad, his "ears" droop.
If one pays attention, it is possible to hear him make whistle noises, particularly when answering to yes/no questions. [wiki]

modern owlboy au where all owls are basically cryptids. One day you’ll be getting on the ferry to go back to Advent and the next moment some guy is being dragged off by the in-universe equivalent of mothman.
Basically, most of the owls and the apprentices (I assume there’s more than Strix’s gang, at least before the attack on Advent) are nocturnal, except for Strix and Asio and their affiliated students.
I’m also saying that all the owls have a little area in the city that they don’t leave. Kind of like Elf Alley in Disenchantment, but everyone is nocturnal and not fond of people. There’s a few owls that interact with people, AKA the owls we meet during the main part of the game.
Otus is probably the most cryptid, cause I’m getting the feeling that outside of hanging with Geddy and sleeping/eating, Otus mostly trains.
Over a month late now, but regardless, belated Happy Anniversary to one of my all time favorite games, Owlboy!

A bunch of (mostly) Candlegear doodles!!! Or just doodles related to the two. I love them. They should kiss. (Acting like my last drawing wasn't them literally smooching...SHHH...) Geddy is a little too orange for my liking on the second to last doodle but that's okay everyone has their orange era...I think

Some little extra notes: my OC (on the left) is named Icarus, and their ship name is Candlegear :] I've been hesitant to post about my OC x Canon for a while now because of what people would say abt it but I think I'm alright! I'll probably post more about Icarus soon, I have lots to share about him
