law is reserved. private. he likes to keep to himself and hides his emotions behind a clenched jaw, furrowed eyebrows, and annoyance from anything he couldn’t control. and, one of those things he couldn’t control is your lips smothering his face with you lipstick - specifically his forehead and cheeks.

yes, law likes you. a lot. but your relationship is like a first crush between two kids: innocent and filled with unspoken feelings.

“stop doing that,” law muttered, immediately wiping your kiss from his cheek. you giggled - he wasn’t angry. he was blushing.

“still don’t like it, huh?” you asked, cupping his face.

law didn’t tense up but instead breathed out, “mhm.”

you sighed and sat next to him, laying your head on his shoulder. the hum of the polar tang’s engine hummed in the background.

“it’s okay, law,” you replied, holding one of his large hands in yours. “we can take it slow.”

he nodded and kissed the top of your head. “thank you.” he whispered.

you and this lump of aggression and incompetence are a fan of lipstick; mainly because it’s a competition between you two to see who could give the other the most lipstick stains. anywhere and everywhere until your lips are back to their original color.

“tch. i let you win this round.” kid grumbled as you put another tally mark under your name. you turned to him, stains on your face, neck, arms, hands…everywhere.

“thank you,” you smiled proudly. “looks like i’m - ”

“psych!” kid growled. “i still have some lipstick on.” he grabbed your arms and pulled you back first against his tone chest. “when are you going to learn that i’ll always win?” he whispered in your ear, kissing the start of your jaw. with practiced gentleness, he slipped down the sleeves of your tank top and messily trailed his lips down your shoulder to your fingers. he turned your wrist around and kissed your pulse, biting the skin.

with his metal arm, he ran a finger down the front of your chest, circling your perky nipples under the fabric, and went down to the hem of your pants.

“you’re cheating,” you whispered, turning your head to catch a glimpse of him. kid took his lips off your wrist and kissed each finger, slowly sucking and biting each digit.

“i don’t know how to cheat.” he laughed, turning you around so you were straddling his lap.

the bed creaked under you as you settled into position. kid’s metal fingers slid under your chin, tilting your head back to expose the curve of your neck.

he licked the lipstick off your skin, leaving a bold red smear, before kissing it again - his touch slow and satisfying. his regular hand pressed against your foot, pushing your leg further apart, before grabbing your thigh with a firm grip.

“i’m leaving more than just lipstick on you today,” he murmured into your ear, “and you’re going to like it.”
