Zero from Drakengard 3! My first time painting an anime-type statue. Need to learn how to mask properly during airbrushing because touching up gradients on something so big is difficult. Sculpt from Bulkamancer.

Gorgeous mouse and frog mount from Lord of the Print at 150% size. Picked up some Elegoo ABS-like blue for cheap which looks lovely for photographs but stinks way more than the grey does 😭 I've also printed and assembled the raven and magpie but already primed two birds in black and they're not photoing very well.  

I love the latest LotP release, it reminds me of the Redwall books I read as a child. I still have all of them in a box that I can’t bare to get rid of. Looking forward to painting all of them!

Gorgeous miniature from the INSPYRE3D Patreon of Haku from Spirited Away. Reminded me how long it's been since I watched the film (or even any Ghibli/anime tbh). New sable paintbrushes meant I can do a lot better detail on eyes. Only downside of this model is both green and white have terrible coverage, so any mistake on either the body or the mane(?) took forever to correct.

First painted miniature and one of my most recent! Of course always comes back to Final Fantasy. Last month I celebrated my first year of model/miniature painting so took a little photo.

Sister blog for https://www.tumblr.com/owlsteaparty. I move between making plush toys and other textile crafts to miniature resin printing and painting. In the past I’ve kept this to a single social media account but makes sense on some platforms to have them separate.

So here is my miniature painting Tumblr! Expect prints from well known creators, some hopefully not awful paint jobs, and custom sculpts from video games (mostly Final Fantasy) as I continue to learn Blender and ZBrush.

The above print is from Lost Kingdom Miniatures. Printed in Elegoo ABS-like resin (grey primed white, and clear blue primed with matt varnish). The STL for this was a birthday present and was printed and painted nearly a year go. I don’t think I ever took any pictures of the painted version, but the poor resin peg bowed and snapped so it needs a new base.
