Tell me your most anticipated 2019 release at the moment.
I’m eagerly waiting on a few books at the moment. FINALE because I can’t wait to see the finished copies (it was SO so good, y'all). DARKDAWN for sure but I have a while for that one and I really want to re-read the first two books before it comes out.
And finally, SORCERY OF THORNS which I’ve been dying to get my hands on! Thank you so much Simon Teen for the ARC!
I’ll be joining the blog tour in late May so you’ll have to wait a bit for my review but I can’t wait to read this. Depending on how my weekend goes, there’s a very good chance I’ll push my other reads aside for it. If you didn’t know, I adored AN ENCHANTMENT OF RAVENS by Margaret Rogerson and though they’re both standalones, I was so excited to learn she had another book releasing!
I’ll leave the synopsis below for all you YA fantasy lovers to check out. And let me know if it’s on your TBR in the comments!

“We have all sorts of words that could describe us. But we get to choose which ones are most important.” Jennifer E. Smith, Windfall
Do you prefer US or UK covers?
For the most part, I like a lot of US cover art but there are a few exceptions where the UK art wins out. Like Spinning Silver. Just LOOK at that design. It’s perfect! The US cover is alright but I definitely prefer this edition.
Thank you to @illumicrate for offering signed editions!
A few other books where the UK cover won out for me include all the Nevernight books, The Wren Hunt, and certain editions of The Night Cirucs (among others that I can’t think of right now)

The party, the ball gown / play the game
Caraval is definitely one big party with a lot of gorgeous ball gowns, but remember it’s only a game (and one I would definitely love to play!)
*also now I’m going to have love story stuck in my head all day*
I’ll have you know she bit me right after this 😂
