A few weeks ago while talking to @the-last-teabender she reminded me about White Day, the day in Japan where boys give girls reciprocal gifts for Valentine’s Day and happens on March 14th.
Was it created by the candy industry to sell more product? Yes. Do I love the concept of it? You bet. Am I going to draw boys who do not fit the idea of romantic gift givers giving gifts of their own thought-out kind? Of course I am, why else am I here.

First in Ashes to Ashes, Alex tries to date Inspector Lestrade while Gene grumps, and we get a crash course in the New Romantics. Then in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the history of the country comes full circle (as it were), we get some Hohenheim flashback goodness, and Olivier Armstrong wrecks a dude. Plus, shipping corner goes off.

Yes, we have returned! It’s been a long time… but not nearly as long as it’s been for our protagonists traveling through time and bringing down entire governments with science-magic.
In our latest episodes, @randomthunk and @the-last-teabender kick off Ashes to Ashes, and Ginger finally sees the ship her senpai won’t shut up about. And in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, we go to the north and Kara finally sees the awesome lady her kouhai kinda guessed would end up being her fave.
