The Butterfree line

#art #drawing #digital art #pokemon #caterpie #metapod #butterfree #Pokemon fan art #pkoemon 108 #these ones were hard #maybe it was just cus I took a break between the first ones and these tho #butterfree was just so round #also I like metapod cus I made them so simple #and I had fun putting strange shapes on metapod #that's something they do on hero 108 so I want to incorporate it when I think it fits #but all of these had like 4 or 5 different sketches before I settled on these #im kinda worried I'm sticking to close to the source material #but hopefully its just cus im copying the official poses #which originally was a cop out but not its like a challenge #cus some of those poses are wack #like venasuar's
