✷ do i have to draw every day? nope — this isn't that kind of challenge! i try to keep things laid back and accessible, so you can skip as many days as you need if you're busy, falling behind, or want a break for any reason! there are 10 main days (marked with a star) to anchor yourself through the month, you can just focus on those if you want!

✷ do i have to make finished art? nope — this challenge is intended for warming up and trying new things more than anything, so quick/unfinished sketches are fine! you can 'polish' your art if you want to, but it's not required at all!

✷ what is the tag for the event? #mARTch or #mARTch2026 this year! i encourage everyone to spend some time in there appreciating what other people are doing during the event!

✷ can you share/promote my entries? unfortunately this year i'm gonna have to take a step back from cataloguing entries - sorryyyy!!! in the past i've shared everything in the tag to my blog @bweirdevents but as the event has grown from a few friends to a few hundred people, it's left me with less and less time to actually participate myself. the blog will remain up as an archive and i'll still try my best to like/interact here and in the discord as much as i can, but my cataloguing days are definitely behind me

Day 21 : Gift Art

This gift art is for @oxeyederyth 's sona! I wanted to do something challenging and their sona has a centaurish body so I wanted to try it.

I did something simple with nature and lilies. My art skills with nature aren't the best though but I hope you still like it!

Day 4 - Sona/ Self Insert

This is only version of my persona that is fully coloured.

They are based on the Fawn Lily or Eythronium with different parts of the flower corresponding to their body parts: Hair = Petals, Antenna = Stamen, Ears = Stigma, Lower body = Bulb, Tail = Roots, etc.

The frame is by Shenpai as I originally drew this when her Scuffathon was happening back in May.

No. 22 - Scarlet gilia - Legili

Uses their umbrella as a golf club to hit boulders into holes

Will crash out and their umbrella in half if they miss their shot

This is why their golf hole is now at the bottom of another hole with a slope leading to it, Legili realised they were breaking their umbrella too much and course corrected

Filled with that whimsy

Best friends with the smaller fairies but is very shy around the great fairies

Their flowers get powered up with fairy dust making them into a beacon of healing

Comically slow but actually teleports to mess with people

It genuinely looks like they are walking in slow motion but if you look away from them, they are now where you are looking

It brings them no greater joy than to spook the shit out of someone but as people can not usually see them they instead use their body to trip speedy people over
