โท OO3. 2 LAZY HEADCANONS & A BACKGROUND.
* CONTACTLESS : as the greek goddess iris has been said to be morpheus' lover, iris doesn't particularly enjoy the lennox's presence. for as long as he's been aware, iris messages may be misconstrued or "glitchy", sent to the wrong person ( both when sent to him or when he's sending one out ), or become a complete waste of drachma ( 3 drachma instead of 1 and the call won't even last 2 minutes ). all that being said, lennox can be extremely difficult to get a hold of as a result, which has been dangerous hurdle for them growing up.
* A CLOSE FAMILY : despite it being known that morpheus was very protective of his family and his realm in the underworld, lennox was always permitted to visit his father and uncles now and again. but the catch was that they'd have to visit in their sleep. in fact, dreaming was one of the only ways lennox could meet and speak with his fathers and his side of the family. in the dream place where time wasn't as it seemed.
conceived during the veil of night in a plane not too removed from our own, a child of both mortal and divine lineage was born. their mortal parent, a dreamer with a penchant for creativity and lucid dreaming, had unknowingly captured the attention of morpheus, the god of dreams. from the moment of their birth, lennox exhibited a natural affinity for the realm of dreams, even in their earliest slumbers.
despite leading what most would call a pretty normal life, while growing up, lennox experienced vivid dreams that often felt more like glimpses into another world than mere subconscious wanderings. these dreams almost always had a purposeโ as if there were hidden messages within themโ and were littered with fantastical creatures, ethereal landscapes, and enigmatic symbols their young brain couldnโt easily make sense of. unbeknownst to him, their father morpheus had been subtly guiding and shaping their dreams, leaving a distinct mark on the young demigod's destiny.
as nox entered adolescence, their powers as a demigod began to manifest more prominently. they discovered they had the ability to enter the dreams of others one night briefly after their mother started to have consistent nightmares; eventually learning to influence and navigate the dreamscapes with ease. this gift, however, came with its challenges, as lennox found themself caught between the mortal world and the ethereal plane of dreams. one where everything, even who they were and what they looked like, was pliable and almost comforting, and another where the world was dangerous and everything came with hard rules.
at the age of thirteen, lennox's blood ties to divinity was revealed to them by a satyr named callista, who had been tasked with protecting and guiding young demigods like themself. together, they embarked on a journey to camp half-blood and got there without too much trouble ( perhaps the monsters werenโt too interested in a demi-god of their level? ). there, they learned about their true parentage and eventually honed their skills in harnessing the power of dreamwalking ( with the help of a few friends ).
throughout their years at camp half-blood, lennox faced numerous challenges from mythological monsters seeking to exploit their demigod abilities, contacting them through their dreams. and as lennox approached their twenties, they started receiving cryptic dreams and visions that hinted at a looming threat to both the mortal and divine worlds around the time of the second titan war. morpheus had been communicating with them through these dreams, hoping to guide them towards their destiny.ย ย

in the pursuit of understanding the intricate connections between dreams and the human psyche, lennox decided to chose a rather unique path amongst demigods. recognizing the profound impact dreams had on most demi-individuals, they decided to channel their abilities into a therapy, completing their education and training, and eventually became a therapist specializing in dream therapy. nox found fulfillment in aiding others on their journeys of self-discovery, despite not being able to do the same for themself. they became a witness to the transformative power of dream therapy, and wish to help demigods overcome fears, unresolved issues, and tap into any and all forms of untapped potential. now if only they could do the same for themselfโฆ

CLIENTS : for anyone who can benefit from therapy ranging from getting over events and deaths witnessed in the second titan war ( stress, phobias, ptsd, anxiety, depression, grief counseling, insomnia, addictions etc ) to family trouble, relationship counseling and general comfort / company therapy ( like if you want to lie down, have a snack and just have someone to vent to.)
**in the finest prints of their brochure in ancient greek, it states demigods can choose an option to relive memories / traumatic events or cure consistent nightmares via "sleep therapy".
HIS PEACE : your muse is one of the only people aware of how severe lennox's anxiety is, whether it be "issues" (ptsd? something more) or just an inability to cope with life following the second titan war. this muse is the one of the only people who calms lennox down. Whether it be via thoughts of them, to their physical presence, that looming feeling of doom around the corner seems a lot further away with them. this could be completely platonic but i see this shifting into a slowburn romance.
A ROOMMATE : okay yeah he's a grown adult with a full time job but they're also just a tiny babie who could use the comfort of knowing theres someone to come home to after their hardest days at work. if you find it kind of attractive to see a visually appealing masc presenting person cook, clean and maybe shed a tear or two in your lap, lennox is your guy-- or er-- or ethereal gender nonconforming being. theyre pretty clean, sweet and basically a golden retriever . . . if it was crossbred with a giraffe.
